And tons of their decals little stickers I’m sure I’ll be putting all over the place. And then one of their catalogs trashes other wheels. Some rods sweatshirts shirts. Everything that can look through. And that’s everything in. That box let’s get to the interesting stuff. Something you guys plug. It up so jumping all over.

Now I’m not gonna surprise. You guys too much through. This is Mircea breve OSX. Iactually have used. One before I really like. Ireally like it I’ve used. Cheaper go with the Revo aura which is um. Or not read the diversity. Or which is great as well. Nothing wrong this isn’t real it’s just. One of their lower profile over the house but here is the guy. Iwanted to talk about. This is the revote mgx spinning reel guys.

And it’s phenomenal. And I’m sure I’m going to be doing some reviews on. Both of these you guys want. Me to go in depth with. These right now but I’ll definitely make a separate video to actually break down. Everything and what makes. This real phenomenal. And just holding this in my hands guys I’m telling you so why it is ridiculous. How light you guys haven’t held at a regular TiVo ngx bait caster. This thing’s like half the weight is ridiculous super light. This carbon fiber handle super thin. Imean it’s just phenomenal. It looks like a boss to. Imean that’s amazing I was really excited. This is very new to have a Garcia. And I’ve looked up tons of videos over at na but I’ve really been excited to get. One of these and finally got. One of these I’m not sure. What I want to be using it for if I’m going to use.

It for my drop shot. Or just for a shaky. Most of the time I’ve been throwing shaky on a bait caster from skipping docks. And stuff just on ebay cast your only time I’ve been really using a spinning reel has been with. You know drop shotting and stuff, so I’m sure I’m gonna use. This for my drop shot definitely great. Iuse a very drop so every but I’m going to cast out that’ll be great as well I’m definitely really pumped to use. This but I’ll definitely. You guys know I really like. Iget on the water I’m sure I’m gonna love. It but by holidays right. Now I’m in love with. It super lightweight really compact. That mean it’s just a small real great real. And it’s gonna be perfect for I’ll be wanting music for it but I’ll definitely go take. It out on the water test.

And welcome to fishing gear tester comma use field review of the Abu Garcia Revo mgx spinning reel so the mg X is the top of the line in Abu Garcia’s new Revo spinning range comes in a twenty. And a thirty size the 20 size will probably be the perfect size for your brim guys you’re going to love. This reel the 30 size things are slightly larger say flat-head Jew fish may be small snapper offshore. It comes standard with twelve bearings so that’s eleven stainless steel bearings put throughout. And then the and the reverse bearing now there are a. Few features on this reel. That do make at the top of the line those twelve bearings being one but. It also has what they call their Am I gearing now that’s computer cut gearing. That makes gears as close to exactly the same every single time they’re cut. Now to hold those gears a boo has come up with. What they call the one-piece X mag metal gearbox. Now it’s one thing to have lovely computer cut gears but. You need something that’s going to hold them to very fine tolerances. You cut the greatest gears in the world. And then it in a body. That has flex to what that’s going to do is it’s going to allow the gears to move as. You wind and it’s not going to feel very smooth so a be coming up with. This one-piece metal gear box is a great idea the gears actually slide directly in the back. And are held perfectly so. That the entire time you’re using it’s going to be great. What effect that has on the water is.

It is a very smooth real straight out of the box you’re going to love. Isaid the 20 sides perfect for brim guys. Ido a fair bit of slow rolling crank base for brim. And that’s you can really feel. Whether the gears in a realist smooth. And I’ve found even slow rolling as slow as. You can go this is about as smooth as. Any other real I felt so. He couldn’t go past saying something about. This lovely carbon handle which has been finished in a soft-touch flat knob. When I’m using it out on the water. That soft touch knob it’s quite nice. It feels good in the hand it’s very comfortable to use. Now to cut down on the weight we’ve got. That lovely carbon handle. What they’ve also done is they’ve made the body out of their c6 carbon so the gearbox is a one-piece metal the body itself.

That holds that is made out of a c6 to make the whole thing a lot of lighter so. One of the other features with. This reel I quite liked is. It does come with a space bill. That means on the water is. Ifish plastics I tend to like to use braid with a leader. Ifish hard bodies more often like to use fluorocarbon straight through so straight out of the box having. That spare spool I can have. One spool for each them sitting there. Iwant to change tactics throughout a day bang. Ican do it straight away. Now I’ve been using the finesse spool on. This finesse spool that says. It takes 75 yards of six pounds well. It takes a hell of a lot.

Iput four point four pounds file on exceed on. Ithink I’ve got about 200 meters so there’s definitely not going to be. Any problem with line capacity on. This reel both of those spools come with their carbon matrix drag system lovely. And smooth there’s no pressure like needing to land a fish for a video like. Iactually call one of the better bream. That I’ve caught out of here today it’s its worked perfectly from day. Imentioned that carbon matrix drag system will pull a smooth 5 kilos of drag so my overall impressions of the reel I’ve been using it for about a month. It on bream Bass flathead. And have this I’m a big fan. Ireally do like the soft touch flatten knob. It seems like such a small thing on a reel but. It is quite comfortable to hold. All day very smooth as. Imentioned those gears are held perfectly. Ican sit and not think. Even had a real turning in my hand. When I’m out there fishing for bream so overall I’m pretty impressed by the real comes in beautiful packaging looks quite beautiful.

Idid have to mention a. Few drawbacks this is a very beautiful reel but. It has a lot of small little detail parts put in. It around the handle around. This engine plate here. If you’re a saltwater fisherman the reel is saltwater safe but those little bits of detail are areas. That could hang onto salt. If left under so having said. If you’re buying a real. This good you’re probably going to wash. When you’re done anyway. Idon’t see it as being. That much of a problem in the end as long as. Hello welcome back to the budgets guide service youtube channel todayI’m going to be reviewing the abu garcia revo premier spinning reel. This is the absolute sweetest spinning reel. Ihave ever used there’s a lot of really cool technology. That goes into it too first off. You get 11 ball bearings in a sealed carbon matrix Drake. Now a carb matrix Drake is. One of these smoothest ones on the market. You know with this real. You feel fish start to pull the initial inertia to start up the drag is just as much as. When it’s regular isn’t pulling there’re no hiccups at. You know you don’t feel fish sitting there lunging are. Or your drags letting up a little bit starting to fade out. Ihaven’t had that happen at. All its awesome first finesse fishing probably the coolest thing about. This reel is the nano technology. That goes into you look at the stem real close there. You can see how it’s kind of shiny it’s actually made out of graphite but. They put the special nano coating on. It I’ve actually seen the video of them doing this. Where the guy steps on a ping-pong ball obviously very gradually.

Idon’t forget steps on it’s going to flatten out. If they spray this nano coating the guy can stand on top of. It doesn’t deform at. You have a very strong real but. You also have a very lightweight real. This reel is about 8 ounces. And internet 30 sighs that’s considerably lighter. Most of those that have the aluminum frames in a comparable size real the only drawback. Ican think of this reel is. That the paint on the roller arm here has a tendency to scratch off fairly easily on. It looks just as good as new but. This real so much I went out. Ibought two more obviously. These are fairly expensive the. One thing I did see. Iwas looking up the specs on. This online is it looks like.

They may have discontinued unfortunately so looks like. They might be sleeping you know coming out with a new. One guessing probably at the classic in 2015. That being said you can find one of these at a discounted price. Idefinitely recommend picking them up. Ithink they’re you know worth every penny at the 259. They were but you can find them cheaper. They are absolutely awesome spinning reels. Ilove fishing with. These things caught. Some big sallies on them actually got. Some pretty big large month of them too. They handle awesome there’s definitely enough power in their like. Isaid the drag is super smooth. And as far as I’m concerned. These are some of the best spinning reels ever made so next time. This rod is you can get. It in six different sizes from 7 to 12 feet tall so. You can jig with you can do. Anything you need to get those crappies. You want them another thing is the fluorescent tip. What is going on everyone today. Iam out on the water with Alex. Iwanted to do an unboxing because right before. We were leaving this showed up in the mail. You can tell by the title it’s the Daiwa — — lat LT spinning reel it’s new from last year. Ineeded to order I got a new Phoenix spinning rod. Ineeded something to pair. That with so I ordered. This thing so let’s unbox. Iordered from fishing tackle depot. Ihad a 10% off coupon on top here. They gave you a sticker it’s pretty cool sticker here’s your packing slip. And then there’re the goodies right there so here. It is diatom Tula LT. Igot the mm size in the spinning room. Iwas gonna go to 2500 until. Irealized that there 2500 compared to like a Shimano 2500 which is usually. What I use is a lot bigger. Then the Shimano 2500 so it’s actually bigger. Then their 3000 size so. Iwent with the mm size. It held a really good amount of a line in the first place. And yeah so let’s get into. This so inside your packaging here. You got your dial WA user’s manual with.

All the info and inside is your reel handle so. You got your reel handle inside. That package and then. We got the reel itself. And then the parts and stuff right in their get. This thing out of the packaging thing is so lightweight already so alex is trying to catch a hog. Ido my first impression video on. This reel and there. We got the handle on. That thing is just air smooth. It feels like you’re reeling absolutely. Nothing I really like the black finish of the reel obviously. This isn’t like a review. Ihaven’t got any use out of. One of the reasons it is cuz. That the drag was pretty good in. And it’s forty dollars cheaper. Than like the dialog ballistic. And the Shimano strata so that’s why I decided to pick. This thing up it’s got a really sturdy but quiet Bale flip flips open strong closes real strong got the anti reverse switch right there.

This holds 160 yards of eight pound line. And 220 yards of six pounds but I’m gonna be putting fifteen pound braid on. It so it’s gonna hold well over 200 yards of 15 pound braid so it’s plenty big for what I won’t need. It at for instead of getting the 2500 so obviously the features of. You already know if you’re looking at. It’s five point eight ounces very lightweight six point two to 1 gear ratio it’s got 11 pounds of drag 32 inches per turn of the handle. And it’s got 6 ball bearings so that’s a 2 lair. It features the new machined aircraft grade aluminum digit earring which ensures smooth rotation. And super easy reeling and. Everything this is designed with the air bail. And the air odor which cuts down on the weight. And improves the strength of the reel. And the power of the reel. And the air bail is. What it is it flips open real quiet. And it’s real strong. You reel it feels like you’re reeling air like.

Isaid before so that’s the air rotor. They put in here this thing is just so quiet overall I’m pretty impressed right. Now out of the box I haven’t got to use. Yet obviously it’s just my first impression video I’m just telling you guys about. And my initial thoughts so like. Isaid right now I’m pretty impressed. Ican’t wait to use. hey guys its Josh over J. And H this is the Daiwa tatula LT spinning Realty alt 3000 D — C X H so. This is brand-new for from die Allah came out at ICAST was released at ICAST. And just came out late 2017 early 2018. And they totally redid a whole platform. Icame out with a whole new platform which consists of the ballistic. All the way down to the flagel. And I guess the legality. And a couple of the rails are on there so. If you’re familiar with the ballistic rails. This is the freshwater version of the ballistic so the exact same reel the only thing. That changed was that input mag syllabus so. This is made specifically for freshwater can. You fish saltwater with. This real yes do I recommend. You go with a ballistic instead absolutely. Because a refreshing with salt. You should get the Maxell but. This again is the freshwater version those guys don’t have to worry about. It and it’s a really well-made real a step forward in terms of what dialogue can do. They went from having these bigger reels. That might have said three. Or four thousand, but they’re really like a four thousand five thousand size so. Now they’ve sort of gotten in line with the rest of the manufacturers in terms of their sizing so. This is truly a three thousand size.

And this one actually has a slightly higher gear ratio that’s. What the ax H stands for in the model number it’s a six point two to 1 gear ratio it’s made out of carbon fiber the body. If they called Zion so it’s lightweight gets rid of flex reduces vibration. And it’s a really smooth real. Imean tremendously smooth aluminum handle nice like rubber t-handle on there is comfortable. And air Bale on there so it’s really a pleasure to fish. And then you know a nice smooth trip on their 7 ball bearings. And a waterproof track system. You can see the drag system on there is. You know very similar throughout the whole series you’ll see. That design that shape throughout the whole series. Whether you get a ballistic. All the way down to. You know the lower end reels but. This really tells 490 bucks it’s totally worth.

It you’re gonna have a lot of fun fishing with. This thing you know pair with. One of those dial it’s a tool elite spinning rods. Or whatever your favorite freshwater rod is. And just have a blast. You know weighs in at just 62 ounces so. You know throwing we’re spending real 62 ounces. That puts out 22 pounds of drag it’s tough to beat so. If you’re a freshwater guy. Ilike you’re able to land fish a lot better with. Because it’s so light. You can use that 4000 size. And not have any fatigue I’m fishing for a long day so check. This off and compare. This with a título you don’t need. That stuff so there’s the box. This from he’s a cardboard. This instruction manual yeah. Idon’t need this is. What couldn’t Japanese. Something another bag of. Some booklet then we got the real okay where’s the handle part okay it’s in here never mind. Iwas about to say I thought. Ididn’t see the handle hell yeah okay so here’s the real safe I’m probably gonna have to get a small rod sin look at. That guy’s what else sexy. Igotta take off this tape real quick. And then we got the handle. This real cuz it was on sale. Ilike the color it’s. All black and clean look in plus my brother. One of my friends has. This real it’s pretty smooth like the way. It looks look at that so the real model is the 1000 DX H yeah. And the capacity is 160 yards with six pound test a gear ratio is six to.

One bearings are six bearings the max drag is 11 pounds the align recovery 305 inches per turn. And as real as five point eight ounces pretty light. Ijust love this reel already. And it’s reversible too but I’m never gonna use. Anyone uses the reverse on the spinning comment down below. Iwonder anyone uses. This just sick the look overall I’m gonna take off my quantum smoke off of my rod real quick okay there’s a huge difference between. These reels but just listen to. That the sound that is not smooth at. It still looks good. Though they’re both good wheels I’ve had the quantum smoke for a. While check that out. Iusually use this for stripers pretty much. Everything Hey this so many stripers flounder rainbow trout speckled trout redfish pretty much.

Everything got this for all right I’m gonna put. This stuff back in this little box so. Idon’t lose it I’m going to spool. This real after high school it’s real I’m gonna show. You guys what this looks like. Iam using trilane I think that’s. It the trailing 4 pound test extra whip smooth casting what’s the color low. This green all right let’s put. This on ice I might as well just show. You guys how to spool our wheels since I’m doing it right. Now so first what you want to do is pick your reel on rod I’m probably not to wipe down my rod so. Everything will be much. More soothing that already feels nice that’s pretty light. That is super light looks clean too oh yeah okay so first of. What you want to do take your line. Ican get this tape off.

All right there we go good your line. And then you want to put. It through the first yard. And then open your bill. Iusually tie a uni knot to. This to your bail or not your bill but the spool there. You just want to put your spool of line in. One spot I usually would just tie my drag. All the way that’s your job won’t be pulling while you’re doing this. And then, so I just have my spool just set down on my table. And then I’m just gonna put. This just hold it with my fingers. And there we go start reeling. That is the finished product. That looks clean alright, so I’m just gonna cut. This off hi guys so that’s the finished product check. That looks amazing alright guys well. Ican’t wait to test. This is the 5000 size of the brand-new Sedona really nice real great inexpensive reel from Shimano you’re looking at just under $80 for this reel it’s got a composite body Shimano’s new. They called the M compact body but see the shape of. It’s constructed of hg t 7 composite Shimano doesn’t really tell. You exactly what these are made out of but. You know it’s not a metal rail to composite reel. It does have a Hall. And also me get the handle out there in all-metal spool. You know cold for aluminum spool. And a solid drag system looking at 18. And 1/2 pounds of drag at max so that’s not bad for a real that’s under $80 52 to 1 gear ratio for ball bearings three of them are. You know shielded stainless steel ball bearings. And the other one is the roller right there automatic trip. This reel you know a lot of guys want to know. If the four thousand five thousand of the same body. They do share the same body the five thousand is going to have the deeper cut spool so. You need longer capacity. This is the way to go it’s going to hold 200 yards of thirty pound test braid. And it’s just a great real really well-made. And like you want to spend under 100 bucks it’s going to be tough to beat.

This year and it’s a really impressive real the real retails for $7999 so for under 80 bucks you’re getting a Shimano reel. That is smooth powerful. And just really nice I’m very impressed by. It they did a good job. You know this is one of the reels. That I looked at the show. And I was really impressed. That some of the features in the. More expensive grills have really trickled down to the less expensive reels. You can see the body. This is their M compact body it’s a composite body constructed of hg t 7 which is. You know Shimano now is getting into a lot of their own materials for making fishing reels. And you know I guess. They do it in bikes too, but they’re making high-quality stuff. And this is really nice it’s oh it’s a nice lightweight material that’s strong. This rua weighs in at just eleven point three ounces it’s got four ball bearings in their three of them are the shielded. You know stainless steel ball bearings it’s really smooth for this price range. And it’s got the automatic trip on. It trips over nice and smoothly it’s got their standard drag system clickable. You can see and but.

It still puts out a ton of drag you’re looking at eighteen. And a half pounds of drag at max which is a lot for an inexpensive spinning rail it’s gonna hold a fair amount of line 170 yards. Or thirty pound test braid. And it’s got the aluminum spool on. It and it’s just a really nice. You know price point real. You know you want to spend on around your box. You want something that’s quality. You know why not go with Shimano. You know Shimano makes great products. And this is a great real here’s the drag system. You use this in freshwater saltwater it’s got the. All aluminum handle. This is a plastic knob. Or T really comfortable. You don’t forget a wet. Or whatever it’s not gonna be slippery in your hand. That but it’s just a really nice inexpensive reel from Shimano again people are always asking for eye quality without paying a lot well here.

One of my favorite reels. You can find them on eBay. You can find some sizes on different sites but mostly the big 40 40 X plus sizes. Ineeded to get another 30 X. We really couldn’t find what I wanted but. Ineeded something to pair with my orange carrot stick so. What I got was the Plunger supreme X T. Now the Schlueter supreme XT is black. And orange it matches perfectly with my carrot stick, so we’re going to unbox. And check and after. This season I’ll tell. It is but I know Bubba has. One already and he’s been using it. He fell in love with. It too it’s super lightweight like the president it’s got a smooth real. And it’s just a beast of a system. Igot on sale for 99 dollars. Because Amazon was having a twenty-twenty percent off sale so. This normally goes for 149. It was on sale for a hundred net 129 puts an additional twenty percent off so. Iended up getting it for four $99 which is a really good deal from Supreme X T. Because it’s one of their top-of-the-line reels, so we’re going to unbox. And take a closer look at. It okays here is the flooger president box for all familiar with. These boxes so let’s get. This open alright so. We got real it looks like it’s already put together sometimes. We don’t have the actual handle screwed in. You have screwed yourself. Iguess the file they can ship in such a compact box like a plastic.

All right there we go witness the greatest let. Me tighten this up there. We go okay there it is the flooger supreme xt says the 61 gear ratio got 10 bearings smart retrieve technology 21 percent lighter. Than an aluminum real. It has a carbon handle. And the drag is 10 pounds so max tracks 10 pounds its only six point eight ounces so. This is perfect for an institution. You know you want to drop shot. Or toss Kinkos or the soft plastics. What you need this is a 30 X. It looks a little bit smaller. What you’re usually familiar with. Imean a 3000 you fish with a lot of three thousands. This looks like more like a two thousand but that’s. How Plunger does their reels. This is the 30x it’s perfect, so I’m going to pull. This up with some high visibility J braid. And then I’m going to use. Another finesse system. Ilove to knit fish. All look in efficient. Everything I do crank baits jerk baits. Ido top water and frogs. And in ChatterBait I do spinner baits but.

Nothing is more relaxing to. Me then finesse fishing I just love. If you’re going to finish fish. You want a light setup. And flooger is one of the best out there. Imean it’s the best bang for your buck. Idid have a strategy. Ifor which is also lightweight cost a little bit. More money but you don’t want to spend strategy. Ifor money flooger supreme xt. Either 2500 or the 3000 I’m thinking the 3000 for a good saltwater real love Cabala’s being super close to home. That is awesome so the pin battle -. This is the 3000 series. And I’ve never used a pin spinning rail much less a bait caster ever before. And we are going to see. What it’s all about ok so first off let’s thank. All the patrons out there. Ireally appreciate. What I currently use. And that’s my Shimano sustain 4000. That is 121 ounces with a full spool of fishing line. It comes in right under 01 ounce lighter could be a good thing could be a bad thing a good thing in. That if you’re thinking about quality well.

It is heavy the material. That this thing is made with is pretty stout so that’s the good thing bad thing well. Whenever you’re casting all day long with. Something like this. You want it to be as light as. You possibly can get. It but also strong enough to be able to withstand everyday abuse. And how do I get this thing on so. Idon’t know we’ll see time will tell. Most definitely whenever. We get our there and start actually catching fish with. It and using it’s got a lot of resistance. Whenever you’re reeling its. It doesn’t flow smoothly but for the amount of money. That we spent on it’s roughly about a hundred. And twelve dollars with tax that’s with a military discount first impression looks nice very bold colors at.

That matte black finish with a gunmetal crank. And a nice big saltwater style handle nice sounding drag I’m telling you. What spin rails they that’s. Where it’s at when. You want to hear that really good drag sound listen to. That pretty nice very stout reel gonna do a full test review on. This and hopefully it’s going to be able to handle. Everything that I put. It through I have got to Reese pull. This bad boy with some new fishing line take a look at. That’s what happens. Whenever you don’t follow the manufacturers recommendations we’re gonna go try. And find some 30 pound braid. Because that right there was 65 pound. And I took the cheap route wanted to use.

Some of my old 65 pound test. And it did not work out. Some new fishing line on there that’s 30 pound see. What this guy is capable of handling 30 pound test line. If anything it’s going to be the hook. That bends I tell you. What this could pin battle to get the job done. Imean he’s got a smooth drag look at. That at a nice price point too he’s a he’s a nice over slot right there. We go we got it that’s a nice. One pulling some drag. You got to be kidding me that’s a little shark well at least the battles getting a little workout man. Ithought I had like. Something really nice on he’s got a lot of head shakes cinch down. That drag a little bit. More I think we got a read on the line. Ijust got some color of. It oh that’s a nice red boy. That guy hit it yeah baby boy. This pin battle — bringing them in like. It ain’t nothing oh let’s see. What he did he straightened out. That look at that. Iput too much pressure on him.

Both hooks inside his mouth -. That was a nice-sized red oh my god. Icannot believe I just lost them the drag is definitely smooth it’s got. What it takes to bring in. Some nice size upper slots. Ibrought in an over slot. And then like mid slot Reds with. This thing and the drag was flawless. It did not fail me. It holds a lot of line so that’s a plus in my book as well approximately. What did I get on here a hundred. And fifty yards of 30 pound test. And we still have room for some so. Ithink the manufacturer rates. It as being able to spool with about 180 yards of line. And you can definitely tell. That’s the case let’s see. What else do I got to say about. It that’s pretty much.

It just trying to keep. This review basic and simple just letting you know as. Iused it and applied. It to fishing what it. What it was capable of doing it’s a really good reel. And at the price point it’s. Imean it’s within reach for the majority of. You anglers out there is like I’ve spent a touch over $100 so. Ithink it’s like 108 dollars to be exact somewhere around there. And you get a great bang for your buck as I’m going to consider. This like a little above entry level. This reel is great so the. Few things and this is just. Me being nitpicky so. All upin lovers out there go ahead. Ialready feel you hitting the thumbs down button but. Imean I’m just gonna say. It this thing is heavy. It is a tank so my 4000 series spinning reel was spooled with a full spool of braid. And it weighed in at just shy of what this reel came in with zero braid. Or zero line on its spool so it’s kind of heavy. And the main reason why I went. And I stopped using some of my other reels.

When I became a full-time fisherman was. Because they were heavy. They were big they were bulky. They were hurting my wrist. They were taking a beatin day after day out there long hours on the water eight hours plus sometimes for some days like an average day actually. And that equates to just being fatigued. And that is the only other thing but. That may not bother the majority of y’all out there. Because you’re probably going to just use. It over the weekend. It is a great reel I am by no means talking down to. This thing pin y’all have built a winner. And it is magical at its price point definitely hard to beat. Isee what the fuss is about. And I know why pin lovers gravitate towards.

These things because. They are tanks okay so. That is it I’ve got. Some fish busting up on bait behind. Me I am going to get back to. Some fishing I want to thank. Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the Shimano I’ll tag reserve spinning reels. This is the ult 5500 XS see. This is basically perfect for a 10 foot 10 foot 6 rods. This reel is new to the American market but it’s been around overseas especially in Europe for several years. Or a couple years it’s originally a carp reel the Shimano broader over here is a long casting surf field. You can see how slowly the school is moving up. And down they call. It a slow oscillation. And basically the point of. When the line goes on the rail. That goes parallel as opposed to. You know Criss crossing over. Each other as your spool. Or not for retrieving and. What this does is when you’re casting it reduces friction. It allows you to cast farther so. This reel is specifically designed for long casting that’s its. One sort of big feature it’s got an aluminum body with a graphite rotor it’s with the aluminum spooled. These reels come with a free spare school in the box it’s got the stepped on handle which is nice and comfortable. And the long you can see the oversized aluminum handle which is great. These are a it’s automatic in. You could force it to trip over but Shimano wants. You to use your hand the reason for this. They make it difficult to snap over so. You have to worry about breaking a line.

That kind of stuff the drag system on. This is really cool too powerful. You know 20 pounds of drag but what’s cool about. That with just a single turn of the drag knob you’re really ramping up so. When you’re fishing right. They have a little bit drag only. You know one full turn you’ve really got a serious amount of drag so. When you’re out sir fishing you don’t have to worry about. Igot to turn the knob five six times to tighten down the drag. They call it their quick drag rinse. And drag and that’s a really neat feature to have five ball bearings in. It’s got Shimano Zac ship in. It so it’s nice and smooth the gearing is great it’s got the. You know Dyna balanced rotor so it’s going to reduce wobble really nice and smooth real. This the 5500 side is going to hold about 270 yards of 40 pound test braid so a lot of break.

This really is designed for someone who wants to casteau really for distance in. And out sealed they don’t have gaskets on them it’s its just a long casting rail so. If you’re fishing from the beach. You want to just throw the thing a mile throw. Some braid on here it’s definitely a great option. They retail for about 190 bucks. And it’s nice and light. It weighs in at just under 18 ounces a lot of guys want to know yes. You can switch the handle over left. And right so you can fish with. Either way and like. Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at Shimano. All tegra CI for + XS B surf spinning rail model on. This is the UL CI for 5500 XS B. If you’ve seen the video already I’ve done on the regular. All tegra this is sort of the CI 4 version so. They bumped they give it the carbon-fiber body. It brings the weight down by a couple of ounces so. This thing weighs in about fifteen point nine ounces. This whole system this whole Tiara system is based on a reel. They have over in Europe which is a carp fishing reel. And basically it’s a long cast reel so. You can see the shape of the school is different. And also I turn the handle. How slow the oscillation is on. When the spool goes up. And down and basically the design behind. That the line lays flat on the spool like. This as opposed to crossing over. Each other you spoil. It up so laying parallel. When you’re casting it out with a slow oscillation. It allows it to go off evenly. And smoothly so you get longer casts so. This will cast a lot further. Than a traditional reel. It is a manual Bale of course. It over into the dead spot so. You can see you got to. What you got to push. It over yourself and that’s Shimano is done. That by design they basically want to make. These manual bales so. You don’t have to worry about tripping it over.

And cutting your line again real weighs in at fifteen point nine ounces it’s got six ball bearings it’s got X ship in. It so it’s nice and smooth. You don’t know what X shape is that’s Shimano’s. More efficient gearing system whoops knocked over the spares will come — to spare spools as. You can see it’s got the ant reverse switch there so. You like to go backwards. And forwards you can it’s going to hold about 270 yards of 40 pound test braid so it’s perfect on a ten-foot ten. And a half foot rod especially. One of those new tear light hose. That Shimano just introduced. It the 2014 tier alejo drag system is waterproof what’s cool about. What they do is they call.

This in an instant drag. And basically what it is instead of. You know when you’re out on the water usually twist a lot to lock down your drag in. This instance you go from very little drag right. When let’s just look half return to lock down drag so. If you’re at your fishing you don’t have to worry about twisting this thing’s a million times to get the drag setting you want. It so it’s very small range to change a drag significantly again it’s the carbon-fiber body so the weight. You lose on this reel. You know saving a couple ounces going to help. You fish all day long won’t get as tired. This has been the most popular.

One of the series they make. This is the only carbon fiber. They make two others. That are lower end have less ball bearings in a 550 510000 size buts. One is just available in 5500. You guys what’s going on thanks for coming back. And checking on my channel today. What I want to do is a video I’ve been wanting to do for a long time it’s a product review of. One of my favorite spinning rods. Ihave in my arsenal. That is the ardent edge spinning rod so basically. What I want to do is. Iwant to do a thorough review of. Iwant to go from the first from the tip go through the guides go. All the way down through the end of the handle. And kind of tell what I like. And don’t like about the rod. What the benefits of. This rod is so I want to start with the blank first of. All it’s a tour a carbon blank so basically it’s its going to be a lot stronger. Some other rods I really like the carbon rods almost. All my rods are carbon rods. And that’s just my personal preference the specific rod has an exclusive cloth wrap to give it. That extra strength so. This rod I’ve had. This rod in a lot of different states. Ifished a lot of different tournaments it’s been in a lot of different boats there’s absolutely no indication of. Any kind of wear and tear on.

This rod so starting with the tip. This is a super sensitive tip. Everything with this rod. This is a 7-foot medium power fast action rod. Ihaven’t had any problems with the sensitivity I’ll feel the smallest of bites. And of course you’ve hit with a hammer. And that’s gonna go with. Any rod but as far as really sensitive bites like fishing an ed rig. Or fishing a shaky head. Something small and finesse. This rod picks that up great little tip is awesome. It has plenty of backbone to bring in those oops lost my lure those big fish so. Ireally really liked the strength in the sensitivity of. This rod the guides are micro guides. Ireally noticed that down here. This first guide right here is quite a bit smaller. Some other rods. That I’ve used over the years so the micro guides really help increase the casting distance. And Katz casting accuracy especially with. How much tip this rod has so those are two really really good features there’s seven rod guides.

Or line guides and then there’s the tip so. You have 7 plus the tip the guides are on they’re very strong. Ihaven’t had any problems with them coming loose. Or coming out of the little rap. That it’s in right there so that’s giving me absolutely no troubles whatsoever. All right, so I’ve gone through the rod tip sensitivity. That guides the blank let’s come down to the reel seat first of. All it’s its got a split grip handle which. Ireally really like. Idon’t like the straight shank ones. Ireally actually prefer the split grip handles over. Any other handles that I’ve used the reel seat doesn’t just work with our tech products. It works with any spinning reel I’ve had a couple of different reels on there. It holds it just fine. Now the real-life paired. This rod with is the ardent sea force 2000 so there.

Iabsolutely love the spinning reel. And in combination with the rod it’s super lightweight. That carbon blank is super lightweight. And the reel has a lot of carbon as well I’m not going to go through the features of the reel. Ialready did a real review on the ardency force 2000 so go ahead in my library. And check that out but. Ireally really like. This combination it’s really awesome the handles they’re not cork it’s a very soft material. Idon’t exactly know. What it is but it’s extremely strong so. Me being a KO’ing or. Iam fishing in a tournament. Iobviously fishing on the passenger side of the boat. And a lot of the bass boats have those little cutouts. You can put rods I’ve put. This thing in and out of. Several of those it has absolutely no signs of wear. Some cork rods that are actually starting to chip away. And people away with. This I’ll bring it up close.

You can see has absolutely no indications of those. That wear and tear so as far as the durability of the handle. And the comfort of the handle it’s absolutely awesome I’m super impressed with. It ok so let’s go down to the hook keeper it’s right there ok there’re pros. And cons to I was going to say. That there’s a con to. This rod that would be. It but it’s only in certain situations so. Igo fishing by myself. Iput my rods in my rod mule a hollow. And from my truck to my boat. Ihave absolutely no problems with. Where the bait keeper is on the flip side of. When I’m fishing in a tournament. And I’m putting the rod inside of those cutouts in the basket boat for the on the passenger side of the boat. Inotice that my baits come off of there. They go into about like right there on. Some bass boats especially. If they have the circular cutouts as opposed to the horizontal shaped cutouts so. Iactually stick my rod grip into. That hole I’ve noticed my bait comes out.

And my line comes off. And of course it’s gonna get tangled. And stuff, so I did come up with a fix with. That it’s the only modification. That I’ve made to this rod. And it’s adding a Cali clip. If you’ve never seen a Cali clip. It is a product made by Cal Coast fishing so. What it’s meant to do is. It holds a drop shot weight so. You can hook your hook on to your reel. Even maybe the outside edge of. One of these guides. And then you can use. This to hold your drop shot weight. You can use it there’s a hole right there. You can see it on my thumb side there. You can put a hook so. It in here behind the reel seat like so. And then get my lure up here of course isn’t. That rig on there and then. You simply don’t see. Ican get swinging see.

It simply clips it in there. It holds it rights there so. When I’m fishing in a tournament. And I’m in that particular situation that’s. What I do all right so. Iwant to talk about pricing of. This rod I’ve fished with every kind of rod for a $200 spinning rod. All the way down to a fifty dollar spinning rod that’s about the range. That I’ve fished this rod is priced perfectly it’s priced right in the middle of there at. One twenty-nine ninety-nine on tackle warehouse it’s also priced at. One forty-nine ninety-nine on an artist website don’t ask. Me the reason for the difference in the price. Ihave absolutely no idea but. Hey guys what’s going on thanks for coming back to my channel today. What I want to do is a real review. Ialready did a real review of the ardent apex elite today with the real I’m gonna review for you is the ardent sea force 2000. Ihave mine right here. This is an amazing spinning reel I’m in the process of switching out. All my spinning reels to. These and for a variety of reasons which I’m gonna go over in. This video so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna show. You the components I’m gonna explain what’s so great about. It and I’m gonna take. It out fishes it and hopefully get into a couple my biggest thing about. This reel is its lightweight it’s. All reinforced carbon fiber on the frame. And on the rotor so not only is. That gonna make this real tough but. It is also gonna make. It super lightweight tournaments on average. And I fish a lot of tournaments go about eight hours usually 5:30 6 o’clock till 2:30 3 o’clock.

Something like that. If you’re gonna be chucking lures on. Any real that’s one of the biggest things for me the weight the second thing. That I like about this reel is. That the gear ratio is higher. Than most spinning rails out there. This has a really quick 6 0 to 1 gear ratio reel. Now you might ask why that’s important well. It was important for a couple things. One you want to be able to bring. That lower back in super quick so. That you can get another cast out there. One thing that I like about. It is I fish a lot of lures on spinning rails with a semi slack line a drop shot an ED rig efficient semi slack line so. When I feel that initial bite. Iwant to be able to pull up. All that line make the line tight watch the rod load up. And set the hook on.

It now I want to talk about the spool a little bit on. This reel it holds a lot of lines so you’re never gonna have to worry about. That I use all fluorocarbon a lot of people use braid. And there’s nothing wrong with. That and I’m going to talk about brain here in a second but of eight-pound line. This reel will hold 160 yards on 10 pound line it’s gonna hold 120 yards so. It holds plenty of line the second thing about the spool is. That it’s got braid bands before. Ispooled up I probably should do a quick little video about the braid bands but. What it does it prevent the braid from slipping a lot of guys. What they’ll do is they’ll put mono filament.

Or cheap mono filament backing on there. And then put the braid on. And use about a 10-foot leader the spool itself has. It so there will be no slip so. You might not necessarily have to put. That backing on there to prevent the line from slipping so that’s its an it’s a great feature. This thing’s got ten ball bearings it’s its absolutely durable just like. Any other spinning rail. You can undo the knob right here. And you can pull the handle off put. It on the other side. Ireel everything with my left hand so. Ialways leave it on. That side but that’s. One feature that’s pretty standard on. Most spinning rails the other thing. That is absolutely awesome about the handle. Iwant to talk about the handle is. That it’s got the carbon fiber handle so it’s nice and light but it’s also got aluminum in there so.

What that does is it gives. You enough power to make sure. That you’re being able to turn a big fish with. This light tackle I’m going to show. You real close-up some of about the design. And the durability of. This reel I’ve had this in real since February. And I beat the crap out of my stuff a lot of my older reels have a lot of scuffs. And stuff on it but. This thing has been tucked in boats. It has been tucked in underneath consoles of boats it’s been in my truck it’s been in the bed of my truck it’s been in a lot of different places. And there’s absolutely no sign of cosmetic wear on. This reel I’m in love with. This real now I want to go fish with. This real so let’s go so the rod. Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the pen spin Fisher v SS V 6500 BLS spinning reels. This is the ballast model pen analysis. Ithink over the summer. And it’s finally here guys have been waiting for it. You know fall fishing coming around. Now the ballast version is perfect for surf fishing you know. If you’ve never seen a Bliss real obviously there’s there’s no bail it’s very easy to use. You know once your cast out. You just use your finger for the line back on the roller. And that’s it guys like the ballast version. You don’t have to worry about the bail snapping over breaking your line in losing a 20. Or $30 plug other that it’s exactly the same so looking at. All metal construction it’s. All aluminum and the big thing with the spin fishers are. They have the seal so there’s a seal here the seal by the handle the seal on the body. You know seal drag and stuff to keep out water. And stand you can dunk. These reels you can’t turn them turn the handle. While you’re underwater but. You can dunk them then get splash. That kind of stuff you don’t have to worry about. When you’re done just rinse them off keep them clean. You know you don’t have to open. It up every single time. You use the reel 30 pounds of drag on.

This set pens uh you know HT 100 drag washers as. You can see right there great straining system it’s going to hold. You know three hundred yards. All three are just 50 pound test braids which is perfect for surf fishing you know you’re. Then enough line it’s got the braid rings on the spool so. You can see where you’re at. hey guys its Josh over J. This is the brand-new pen SS VI 6500 LC spin Fischer VI long cast spinning rail. Now that’s a mouthful but. This is an awesome rail it’s got really got three major things going for it. Most other long test real stone so the first. One is pen put CNC gears here so. They went from stamped gears to machined. You know CNC gears which just changed. Everything you know think like. If you’ve ever played with a slamming reel that’s kind of what this feels like it’s so much smoother. Than last year’s spin Fisher just a huge. You know increase in quality from last year’s model the other thing is it’s got the seals of the previous year of spin Fisher in. You don’t have to worry about sand salt grit getting in there. This thing is just gonna keep performing the third thing is. That slow oscillating long cast well. You can see many rotations. You need to get this thing going and. What that’s going to do is can deliver super long cast. You know Shimano showed up with the. All Tegra that guys love fishing with. This style of reel is long cast reel but. You know you go in the water. You have to worry about corrosion. That kind of stuff so pen has. You know solved that problem by basically having all those seals on there. And it’s you know it’s very smooth. Now with the CNC gears. And powerful and just a really well-made real 20 pounds of drag it’s gonna hold about 350 yards of 40 pound test brand there so.

You can get a lot of line. These are all manual trips. You have to actually flip. This over yourself so. You have to worry about. You know accidentally cutting your line. And losing a plug. You know especially. If you’re fishing at night. Anything like that waiting at 24 point four ounces it’s. All metal construction so it’s just super durable. And it’s gonna last. You a really long time as long as. You take care of it six ball bearings again it’s really smooth like. Isaid almost as smooth as a slammer aluminum handle. You got the nice big football knob on there so it’s really comfortable in your hand. And 48 to 1 gear ratio so nice and low perfect for surf fishing so. If you’re a guy who surf Fisher’s want super long casts. And sometimes wants to get in the water.

Ican get I want something that’s rugged. Something that’s gonna feel good. And something that’s sealed no. This is a real to go with. You get all those features out of the new spin Fisher so last year the spin Fisher had a 7500 long cast but. It wasn’t like this. It didn’t have all the features of. This it was you know. It was last year’s version. This year’s version CNC gears so fully machined gears power precision feels so much better. Then last year and. You can see that nice slow oscillating spool so. You get those super long cast them. And you’re really gonna be able to bomb lures out there. And get crazy distance so. If you want to stand on the pier. You want to stand on the beach perfect but. If you want to get in the water just like last year. This thing is fully sealed so. Ican take away that could take a splash. And you have to worry about. It fail that’s what I love about the spin Fisher series is. That they hold up really well. They have a really good life lifetime they’re. You know they’re gonna be efficient for a long time. And the fear of failure. Or I’m gonna get salt in here. Or stand in there it’s just not a problem for the drills because of.

All of those seals 20 pounds of Dragon Max it’s gonna hold almost 500 yards of 40 pound test braid so a lot of line on their weighs in at just under 28 ounces 6 ball bearings 5 of them are. You know stainless steel. Or shielded stainless steel so corrosion is just not a problem for this reel. You can see it’s got the answer reverse switch right there. Some guys like that to be able to go backwards. And forwards when you haven’t engaged it’s just instant anti reverse. You don’t have to worry about. It and it’s still really well-built real. You know again it’s made to do a certain thing which is super long cast.

And hold up for a very long time that’s exactly. What this real does so. If that’s something. That interests you. Or that you’re looking for and you’re putting this. All along maybe a 12 foot.
