Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at. One of my current favorite reels. This is the Abu Garcia Revo Toro nacl 60. This is actually the high speed version. They come in two models 54 to 1 gear ratio. And then the 64 to 1 gear ratio. This is the higher of the two Abu was following the trend. Or sort of you know. They shouldn’t say following, but they’re part of the trend of saltwater anglers switching over to really lightweight low-profile bait casting reels. That are extremely powerful so. You take this reel. And it’s only weighs only 11 ounces but. It puts out 22 pounds of drag so. You can do a tremendous amount of stuff with. This with a small reel it’s also a little bit wider. You can see its gonna hold. More line you’re going to get close to 300 yards of 40 pound braid on here which is uh usually. Then enough for most intro fishermen.
Some near shore stuff for. That can handle a lot of pressure. You could you know it’s great for casting and to get the built in centrifugal actually a sealed centrifugal brake which. You can adjust by just undoing this little screw right here. And taking the side off you’ll see the breaks in here. And it’s great for bottom fishing so. You can fish with up to. You know six maybe even eight ounces with. This so it’s extremely versatile it’s really comfortable nice evie a double handles. It also comes with a power handle the box which is nice and comfortable too. You can see it’s just a nice big round power a little knob it’s got two different settings depending on where you’re going you can use. You know just take the nut off here. And replace it very simple to use it’s got the nice level. One system you can see right there.
This reel is going to hold up well over time it’s. All aluminum they call. It your Abra calls at x-craft Accor x-craft ik — but basically it’s an it’s an all-metal body. And side plates and stuff. And really corrosion resistant don’t have. Any problems with everything on here is uh is blue in the game that’s salt water. You know NaCl is solved. And it’s just a great overall real. You know so it’s extremely versatile again only 11 ounces sells nice and light seven ball bearings it’s really smooth. You know effortless turning of the handle see. How smooth that is easy push button there which is always nice. How wide it is its a nice wide push button so it’s very easy to use.
And again this is the fast version six point four to. They do make it in a five point four to. You wanted to something a little bit slower. That great for casting great for bottom fishing just a great overall reel. And throw it on a lightweight rod travel the rod. Something similar to. And you’ll be able to do. Anything and everything inch. Or saltwater just you know give it a nice rinse with warm water. Me fresh water soap soapy water fresh water. Or soapy water after you’re done. This thing should last. You a very long time. They retail for just under $300 but. It is a really nice reel. And it’s one of those reels.
That again you can fish with almost every time. You go out because it’s going to cover such a wide range of species again. This is the Abu Garcia Revo Toro NaCl 60. This is the high speed. They call it NaCl 60 — HS. They are in stock and available at JH com.
Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia revote. Or less low-profile bait casting reels. This is the R Evo t2 s60 so. This is the largest size. And right-handed basically. This is a low profile saltwater bait casting reel it’s its a pretty sizable. One in terms of what you can fish for with. This it’s designed for inshore saltwater fishing muskie fishing. That kind of stuff so. It is a larger of this style reel but. This is what’s coming out. This is what’s becoming much. More popular as guys fishing saltwater. They want lightweight reels. They like the low profile feel. You know fits really nicely in your head. And a lot of manufacturers are coming out with high-quality reels with a lot of drag beefed up gearing aluminum frames. That kind of stuff too to handle big fish. And that’s exactly what this has it’s constructed of x-craft ik alloy which is basically a booze way of saying aluminum weight on.
This is just under 14 ounces so it’s nice and light it’s got their beefed up door gear system so heavy-duty gearing and there are power stack carbon matrix drive system which puts out. You know 25 pounds of drag. And max so just a ton of drag on. This side is your cast control we’ve got your magnetic break right there easy to use. You can adjust it on the fly to. You know change things up so. It slows down the spool. You get those long accurate casts. You want push button to engage puts into free spool. And then a turn of the handle to put your right back into. You know into gear this reel unlike the 50. This has a power handle so you’re looking at an EBA power knob a big. And it’s counter balance so it’s perfect for casting really nice. You know this handle gets wet but that’s bait on. It’s not going to get slippery.
You know it’s great about. These e VA knobs they weigh. Nothing so they don’t add. Any way to the reel so you’re not weighing your reel down but just. You know some sort of bulky handle star direct system easy to use. You know it’s clickable in a million settings so. You can adjust whatever. You want you know six total ball bearings in here it’s got assuming five total ball bearings in here two four stainless steel corrosion resistant ball bearings so lab who’s done their best to keep. These reels of saltwater friendly as possible. They definitely are so. If you’re looking for a great inshore saltwater real. Something with some guts to. You want to do some bottom fishing you know want to catch. Some tarpon or cobra. You know codfish black fish. That kind of stuff if you’re going muskie fishing this is the perfect muskie real gear ratio. This is five point three to. One so it’s nice and low. Or at least it’s low enough we’re getting a ton of power again bottom fishing casting and then.
You want to do with. This reel it can get the job done so check. It put it’s the Abu Garcia revolt. Or alas low profile bait cast around the sixty size retelling this is just about two hundred. And fifty dollars they are in stock. And available at JH calm.
Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia Revo Toro beast. This is the our Evo t2 BST 50 low-profile paid casting reels. This is the new version of the style of bait casting reel from Abu. You know last year they had the NaCl which was really popular but. The transition to a new reel which is the beast you’re a little bit bigger holds. More line a little bit. More power and obviously comes with a couple of extra handles which I’ll talk about in a minute first of. All the real super lightweight weighs in at just 14 ounces. It puts out 25 pounds of drag so perfect for saltwater fishing made for in Shore near shore fishing any sort of big inch. Or species you’re gonna have a lot of fun fishing with. This reel it is a low profile big casting reel but. You can see you got a nice big gear in their right here is the cat’s control very easy to use it’s got their infinite break system which allows. You know really adjust things. You can make those long accurate casts. You want to make handle wise. You got three different handles to choose from. All come in the box so. This is the double paddle with the nice Evie a knobs over here you’ve got just a regular power handle.
And then a power handle casting you know casting version a counterbalance handle for casting star drag is bent in nice big aluminum star drag very easy use. You know you could just use your finger to turn. It’s got a million different settings so. You can really get to the drag. You want to push button push right down puts. You into free spool the body is made out of there at x-craft ik alloy which was basically aluminum aircraft grade aluminum spool. And it’s got that carbon matrix resin drag system which already said 25 pounds of drag so again. This is for those guys who want to go intro fishing there with a lightweight reel it’s gonna hold a lot of long. You know this one’s gonna hold over 200 yards of 30 pound test braid that’s gonna be powerful it’s gonna cast really well it’s perfect for bottom fishing muskie fishing you know. This is the 50 so this is the low gear ratio version so those are the four point nine to.
You know bottom fishing jigging you know. Any of your muskie fish. You need a you know well. You need that low gear ratio for the type of lures. That you’re using this is a perfect option seven ball bearings stainless steel corrosion resistant ball bearings just a great real ton of power lightweight gonna just get the job done put. It on a modern rod and go have a blast retail on. This is three ninety-nine ninety-five. You can get it there in stock. And available at JH calm so check. It put it’s the Abu Garcia Revo Toro beast our Evo t2 BST 50 low-profile bait casting reels like. They are in stock and available at JH calm.
Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia Revo Toro beast our evo t2 BST 60 low profile bait caster real brand-new from Abu. You know every year companies are coming out with. Lower profile saltwater reels. If you’ve never fished a low profile real saltwater it’s time to get started. You know every company is coming out with new versions they’re lightweight powerful. You know tons of drag just really smooth corrosion resistance. Everything about them is just great. And of course with a low profile. They fit really nicely in your hand so. You know unlike around reel. You have more mass obviously a low profile reel is just. More comfortable built-in cancer control it’s got their infinity max brake system so you’re going to be. You know really be able to adjust your casts get those long accurate casts.
You want push button design just push right down their put. You into free spool. This is the 60 size in the low gear ratio so you’re looking at a 4 point 9 to 1 gear ratio. And the larger of the two models holding the two together. And make a 15 to 60 looks like the 60 just has a deeper cut spool so. More line on here so you’re getting it close to 300 yards of 30 pound test braid on here so a lot of line for this type of reel. You know this is perfect for bottom fishing jigging muskie fishing anything where. You need something with a little bit of power to handle bigger fish. This can totally do. You know you’re talking 25 pounds of drag aluminum frame.
They call it their X craft deck X craft ik alloy which is basically aluminum. And aluminum handle three different handles on. You got the dual paddle with the night CVA. And then you’ve got two other EDA options which is just a regular power handle. And a counter balanced casting power handle. All three handles are great it’s going to be personal preference as to which. You know you want to go with eight ball bearings total 7 stainless steel corrosion resistant ball bearings so you’re going to get a really smooth real tons of power corrosion resistant. That kind of good stuff. Everything you want in a saltwater real you’re going to get nice level. One system the real really does have. Everything this is their top-of-the-line model super smooth. You know crazy power. And just a great addition to the lineup from Abu Garcia so. If you’re looking for a saltwater real. You want something lightweight powerful to catch bigger species of fish.

They are in stock and available at JH comm so check. It put it’s the Abu Garcia revote oral beast our evo t2 BST sixty low profile bait casting reels. You can get one at JH calm.
All right what’s up guys so today I’m filming on my new GoPro Hero 5. This is a big upgrade from the hero love the options on. This camera boys commands ok. Or voice controls ok the recording quality is amazing 1080 at 120 frames. You got 4k and you’ve got a bunch of other qualities of video qualities in between the camera is amazing its 12 megapixels really good for an action camera but yeah so the main review today is Toro beast I’ve had. This real for about a week. This is a really really high quality real super high quality 8 bearings you’ve got 25 pounds of drag. Everything on it as the name implies is just beast. This is the size 60. It in 6 2 2 1 it’s got 34 inches of line brought in per crank so. You can work your baits. You can just barely turn the handle. And get your HUDs to just cruise it’s got really good like.
When you’re when you’re trying to get your glides to glide. You can do you can feel. It’s just a super smooth high-quality reel it’s got a nice drag star on. Ipairing this up with my Akuma guide select it’s just amazing haven’t caught. Anything on yet to actually test the abilities of how. It feels I got a fish on but as far as casting I mean. You can just do like a lob cast with the depth 250. It just sails you don’t. Even have to be don’t. Even have to really work on casting I mean it’s just like it’s gone it’s like the manufacturing on. This is like even tell. How good I believe it’s an. All aluminum frame got.
Some 25 pound Berkeley big game on here that’s my favorite line for throwing big baits never had. Any issues with this it’s got a. Everything on its high quality like I’ve already said the spool tension knob is really like beefy eye quality it’s got the clicker in there as well. What also comes with the real. Iforgot to mention. It also comes with two different power style handles. One with the counterweight. And then one without the counterweight I’m not doing any offshore fishing or. Any I’m not using this for any other fish besides largemouth, so I’m not gonna really be fishing for anything else yeah. Iwas like I said I’ve been down I’m from the Bay Area but. Ilive in northern Californians on the school up to Humboldt County there’s only. One closed Lake up here. Ishouldn’t even say Lake it’s a lagoon but it’s technically a pond it’s really shallow it’s really flat but the fish have just been very finicky. This year very hard to. Even catch one on a swim bait let alone get a follow like.
That back at home fishing I was throwing the depths throwing triple trout stone 8-inch HUD’s couldn’t. Even get a follow let alone a bite so fishing has just been tough. Imean I’ve been trying deep. And shallow haven’t taken my flow tube out in a. While just it gets dark early. Ilive in a tiny apartment up here. And there’s nowhere to dry. It’s always humid. Idon’t have a garage. Ihad a garage it’d be no problem with the flow tube but um can’t wait to get out there again today I’m gonna go see. Ican hook into something throwing some big bass but. Iwould highly recommend. This reel if you’re looking to upgrade from. What you’re currently using I’ve never had.
One of the like top of the line. Or higher quality all the reels. Ijust had a black max. This has definitely changed my opinion Abu Garcia’s reels. Inormally fish plunger’s. Ihave a bunch of their bait casters supreme I’ve got an old an older president like the nicer older president not the. They just came out with. This has definitely changed my mind on abuse for sure I’m definitely a fan. You know a couple their rods there they’re very good very high quality stuff. Ihave actually used. And seen this performs. Iwould highly recommend. You have the means and getting one but yeah. This is definitely getting a 10 out of 10 stars for me as far as quality.
And performance and hopefully. Iwill have some footage of sticking up.
What’s up guys Tim little welcome back to tactical bass. And today I got a special video for you guys asked for it. You guys requested it down in the comments section. You guys wanted a review on the new Bantam reel by Shimano so. Iordered it in the mail today spool. It up with some line. And brought it here to make. Some cast to show you guys my first impressions of. This new reel now right out of the box the my first impression of. This reel was it was very comfortable it’s a really small size it’s a 150 size. It fits really well in the palm second thing I noticed is just the way. It feels really what’s the word. Iguess just strong right. One of the main selling features of. This reel is that it’s a single piece frame it’s a an aluminum frame they’ve completely redesigned the frame. And the side plate I’ll show. You guys some close-ups of. That here shortly but.
This thing is it just feels really good. You guys know last year. That review of their new at the time the crow narc MGL. Iabsolutely love that real. You know it’s not the. Most expensive reel on the market but. It is buttery smooth. It does phenomenally well casting light baits. You know weightless worms light drop shots little tiny rip baits. Iwas hoping that Shimano would kind of work off of. That platform that was the first thing I tied on today. Icame out here I threw a bunch of baits the first thing I threw was just a weightless Sanko. Iwanted to see this reel through light baits. What I did I actually took off the side plate there’s four breaks inside. Iturned I disengaged. One so three left on. This reel comes equipped with the infinite braking system on the side right here it’s got a dial. That goes on two six-six being the max the.
Most tension one being the least so. Iactually turned that up to four. Iadjusted the spool tension knob right here just to my jerk bait my worm would fall very slow. And made some cast. And guys I gotta say. It was phenomenal cast very easily buttery smooth. This reel is about an ounce heavier. Then the Crone Ark mg/l but. It doesn’t really feel. That heavy like it feels really comfortable in the hand guys. Ithink it’s gonna be a winner. You know I ordered. One I’m definitely gonna be ordering more. Ithrew a Riggs on I threw spinner baits. Ithrew square bills. Iwant to see it casted the light baits as well as the heavy baits. Iwanted to see what it felt like. What the handle felt like. Iwas fishing a bait with.
More resistance in the water. It feels a little bit different. Than the Crone art kay. Imean in the corrode okay the karat okay. That has a little bit of a free-flowing free feeling handle. This is still smooth but. It feels almost like a high-end round reel. It just feels like strong right. Ifeel like you took. This handle it does come with a little smaller handle on. It I’m not sure the size but it’s definitely smaller. Then the Crone arc and the Korat okay but. One of those handles on. This reel you could put a two ounce will punch weight on there. You could put a frog on here. You could flip pitch. And Jack some Giants. Some of the heaviest the gnarliest cover. And not have an issue. You know this single piece frame. They’re raving about. How strong and there’s no flex it’s got the micro module gearing inside so bigger gearing with smaller teeth. More of them so you’re in constant contact.
It just feels like a winter guys. This technology from their higher-end reels is trickling down into the lower price point reels. You can feel I fished a weightless worm. All the way up to a heavy a rig. And had no issues the infinite system on the side. Icould adjust quickly to my casts. You know that really comes into play. When you’re fishing in the wind. Or throwing light baits. You don’t want to take the spool off. And the side plate off. And adjust the braking system inside. You can just use that wheel but again guys. This reel feels really solid. One thing I noticed too. And obviously more of these I’m sure Matt’s gonna want to get. Now too the we start filming with. What will obviously have them in our newer videos but. It felt really sensitive. Idon’t know if that’s the little the lack of multiple parts.
If it’s just one solid frame let’s. That let’s that sentence sensitivity the feel kind of come through the rod into the reel better. Idon’t know maybe it’s just the Viacom boats. Ipaired up with an X fry. This is the 6/10 medium but. It just felt really sensitive on a little shake. Ithrew a shaky head as well. Icould feel every little rock pebble. Even the rip bait I was throwing it out here fairly shallow in the creek. Iwas hitting bottom. Ifelt a lot of that a lot of those ticks. And a lot of that sensitivity transit. You know coming through the reel into the palm of my hand. Idid catch a few fish on the bantam on the little jerk bait. And the drag seemed to be very smooth no issues whatsoever my landing technique. However was a disaster flip. One of the fish came unhooked jerk maiden up in the tree. It was no good this reel comes in right around seven point six ounces like. Isaid it’s about an ounce heavier. Than the Crone arc couple ounces heavier.
Then the Matane iam but. It doesn’t feel like. It doesn’t it doesn’t do’t feel heavy in the hand it’s very well-balanced on the rods. It on today to throw the baits but. This guy’s it is really a winner I’m excited to get. More of these I do want to play around put. Some power handles on. This thing and maybe turn. This into my new punch reel my new pitch. And real frog and real. Something like that’s because throwing frogs they’re not very heavy but. You need a strong reel. And by the looks in the fields first looks first feel of. This thing I think this reel. You know obviously it’s only the couple of hours.
That I’ve used it seems like it’s gonna be a super versatile reel. It can do everything from super light baits. All the way up to the highest of power fishing I think. This reel is a winner guys. Ireally do I’m looking forward to getting my hands on. More of them maybe playing around with. Some handles. Some bigger ones on there for more of the power techniques leaving the smaller ones on for the. More finesse ii techniques but for you guys. That are looking for a good all-around reel. It does everything hope. You guys enjoyed that video. You guys have any questions please leave them down below in the comment section. We will try to get to those as soon as possible.
You guys like the video hit. That like button and please remember to subscribe to our channel. You guys haven’t already those of. You guys that are subscribed make sure. You turn on notifications. You know YouTube’s doing this thing now they’re not sending up notifications for videos so hit. That little bell next to the subscribe button guys. We appreciate and we’ll talk to. You soon you you.
What’s up guys Tim little here with tackle Basten I’m coming to. You from my buddy’s garage we’re just getting back from the lake had a great day out on the water doing some film insufficient. And today actually spent quite a bit of time throwing the new Shimano Crowe narc 150 mg/l. You guys to fold us in the past. You know we throw a lot of different things. Iactually have the old Shimano Konark ti4 plus so. Igot my hands with a couple of these neutron are. These MGL to powder for 2. Or 3 weeks and a lot of video. Ishot out on the lake during. That storm that spring fishing during the rainstorm. This reel quite a bit as well. And after today after getting back here in the garage. Ifigured I’d I’d shoot a little review it’s a it’s a fairly new reel to the market. And there’s a lot of hype behind. And honestly after fishing it for a. Few weeks I can say is wow. You guys know that I’m kind of tackle geek. Ibuy a lot of different things. That tries a lot of different brands. Iabsolutely love this reel. That real you kind of feel yourself just kind of grab data to as you’re looking down to your rod selection to. What you want to throw. Ihave the old Shimano of the product yeah for plus it’s a great real. You look at the two reels cosmetically. They look about the same a little bit of color difference I’ll get.
You guys some zoomed in close-up shots of. This but a couple key features. That they’ve upgraded in the new crown arc right off the bat the handle size. You can see the handle is quite a bit bigger. Ibelieve it’s a ninety. Or ninety-six millimeter handles. They added an extra bearing in there. They went with the new. That Maglites pool and Shimano says. It increased your casting distance about 50%. Idon’t know about that but. Ican say I was blown away. That last to do I shot my throne. That victim saenko in the wind. Iwas throwing that thing 25 30 yards no backlash issues. This reel is just buttery smooth. That real free feeling handle. This reel has it the spool. Imean it’s I can say. This reel is great. Ibelieve it’s a 279 at retail under $300. That Shimano is you know. They have a lot of higher end. More expensive reels. Ithink a lot of their technologies are trickling down into the middle price point reels those are great thing about.
This reel that infinite braking system on its side. You know most reels have a sights light. You can pop off you can pop the brakes on. And off on a spool adjust your tension like. That your braking system like. That but this also has a dial on the side it’s got a. One two six one being minimal. And 16 maximum that adjusts your braking system on the fly so no longer do. You have to pop you’re real open. And mess with the braking system. You can just take your thumb. And turn the dial up. And adjust accordingly. If you’re throwing a lighter base versus a heavy bag. Or you’re casting into the wind. That is a great feature on a base casting reel. You know today I was throwing a 5/16 out finesse. This is a loot cloth with an SJ from dirty jigs.
We were fishing for spotted bass the water is pretty dirty pretty murky muddy. And the fish are fairly shallow up underneath tree branches. Most the days skipping this little jig up underneath those branches. And reeling today was the deal breaker right. Ifell in love with. This reel today it’s its but it’s by far. One of my new favorite bait casting reels but let’s take a little closer look I’ll give. You guys some zoomed in shots. Some key features on. This reel again it’s. It looks fairly almost identical to the old crone arc. It is six and a half ounces it’s super light it’s a 150 sides so. It just fits really nicely in your hand. You know it’s not a full 200 size reels. If the hand nicely just a great looking great feeling real drag was super smooth did have issues with. That again I’ve had.
It for three weeks I’ve spent a lot of time with. It but the time I have spent with. It seems to be everything. That the hype is all about. It’s top-notch so again guys. This is the new Shimano crown our mg L. It does come in three different gear ratios. This is actually the seven to. If comes in a six to. On a seven to and an eight to. One down at the video description we’ll put a link to. This reel to go right to tack. Where else it’ll have. All of your all of your specs. And details about. This reel again it’s six. And a half ounces super smooth super comfortable. One of my new favorite bait casters guys. You guys like these reviews let. You know we have a lot of tackle. That Matt had accumulated throughout the years. We spent a lot of time on the water playing with. All different brands. All different gear so. You guys like these type of videos the. More in-depth like the reviews.
And stuff let us know down in the comments section. You guys like this video hit. That like button or subscribe the channel Matt. Iwere around the water we’re filming three videos a week for you guys so. You guys like this video hit the like button subscribe the channel. And we’ll talk to you soon guys have a good day you.
All right you guys know. That I’m a big fan of Shimano reels Shimano products that’s that’s. Iactually had a subscriber say to. Me aar casting I’ve seen. All your Shimano videos but why haven’t. You did one about the Matane iam MGL. Ithought about what he said. Isaid well you know that’s a really good question. Because in 2017 and also a good part of 2016. Ifished with the Shimano Matane iam MGL. Any other real got more fish on the Matane iam reels then. Any other real it’s. One of my favorite reels so. Imean we’re gonna talk about. This right now okay so to start off. You guys know that every time. Ido a video about a Shimano reel. It usually has the same foundation the same premise. Italk about the MGL spool. Italk about the Hagane body the bearings. Italk about the micro module gearing I talk about the advanced s vs infinity braking system okay the white shoes with the outside dial, so they’re close.
That G’s so instead of doing all of. That for today’s video. Ifigured why not change things up. And just kind of talk to. You guys about what my honest opinion is why I like to use. Ifish why I use that’s why a bunch of stuff like. That okay so let’s really get into. That right I mean of course I’m gonna like the real. You know it’s a Shimano that’s my brand. You guys know that there’s no need for me to keep saying. Though I’m sure I will but anyway. Something like this six two. One real with it 26 inches per turn stuff. You know 26 inches per turn on. This reel I feel like. It is great for your spinner baits square bills.
Some of your deep diving crank baits. Ifeel like it’s not a giant handle it’s its a normal sized handle but it’s smooth the real fits in your hand. You palm you know I literally feel like. You can fish and you’re not gonna get tired worn out your hands are gonna be oh my god. That hurts you know stuff like. It’s really just smooth it’s fairly easy to cast. Ifound no matter what your skill of a skill level is with a casting reel. Whether you’re just starting whether you’ve been doing it for a long time. Whatever I really feel like overall it’s pretty user-friendly there. We go get up here you fat little football their rear well their logo it’s also constructed very well so let’s zoom in see.
What I mean it has a nice appearance to. And it’s funny I actually had a friend who. Ifish with in a lot of my videos. And first time I ever showed him. One of these he said oh. Idon’t know that doesn’t. Even look like a real. It kind of looks like an alien. You look at its appearance. It does look different. It looks like a bait caster. It looks like a casting reel okay but. It has like this like sleek appealing look to. What I’m saying it’s. You know I mean I’ve game two. That came to the point. These rails I like them a lot but. That not everyone is going to like them especially for the fact. Idon’t know think last time. Ichecked there were four hundred. Or four hundred twenty dollars. Imean they’re really expensive but do. Ibelieve there is a reason for it to cost.
That much yes I personally believe. You can turn down your brake settings on a betaine iam MGL farther. Some other reels. What I mean by when I’m fishing with the Shimano reels. That have SBS infinity braking system. Or the advanced SPS infinity I’m fishing two breaks on two breaks off with a low outside adjustment dial. Now with the Matane iam you’ll. Even get times if there’s no wind. If the weight of your bait is right. You know loading your rod tip with your line. That other stuff you guys know the rules. That goes into that you’ll be able to. You know turn it to just. One break and cast. You won’t have that much. Iwas in middle perfectly hooked sorry. You guys that was eaten. Idon’t normally do. That pretty employee. This time was on a chigger Cara Berkeley PowerBait.
You are probably thinking do. You need that expensive of a real it’s not gonna make. You better at fishing you don’t need. You know like I always say. Iam like a big fan of Shimano. Iwould call myself a connoisseur an enthusiast I’ve loved. These reels ever since. Iwas a little kid when my parents introduced them to. More think before we close our today’s video. You open the box you notice there. It is yes I’ve also talked about the instruction manual. All the other stuff. That comes with it but anyway. You open the box okay. You have your Shimano Bantam oil which is different from the regular oil I’ve also talked about. Whatever that feels like a big. Now just I like Shimano reels. They are my favorite. Iprobably will never switch to. Another brand for the rest of my life I’m. That positive I’m that confident in. That fact but anyway just.
Ienjoy them does that mean. All do so if you’re watching this video. And you’re new to my channel. Or you’re watching this video. And you’re like Shimano sucks well that’s cool. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Everyone has their own preference but do. Me a favor and leave. Me a comment in the section below. What is your favorite casting reel for bass fishing I know a lot of. You guys have suggested. Itry other brands well. Ihave friends who use lose 13 fishing daya casting a bunch of other ones. And personally there’s a lot of nice brands out there but Shimano is my brand let. What your brand is what you like. What your thoughts are. You guys know I will respond to. You guys in the comments. And as always thank. You so much for watching this fishing reel episode. Iwill see every single. You guys next time yeah double-header.
What’s up guys welcome back to. Another episode of Texas tight lines. And today we’re gonna be reviewing one of the top reels on the market the Corrado 200 high gear uh my dad recently picked. This up for him at academy. And we’ve been going through a lot of reels looking for him. We were trying to see which. One is the right one for him. He can throw better. Than others one we’re just gonna check. It out sees it is for him later but right. Now I’m gonna get the brakes set on. And attach it to the rod. And we’re gonna go to the pond right here. And go through it works first things first. It out of the box and a touchstone to the rod we’re gonna be doing the top water. Because there’s a lot of hydrillas in the pond. Anything that so here’s the first look at. It just a little walk around nice lookin real see right here. We got the brake system. You can do where the flipper pitch. Ihave to in and to our right. One hand free sorry right here’s the cast control knob. We already have a set so. Idon’t wanna move that got the brake system right here. They call these the their power drip knobs. These felt really good my other ones are. These are for my hard plastic. These are high quality. That I’m gonna be jealous. When he’s throwing this out on water.
And then right here. It’s a 74 pretty quick. This is micro module nice. You made Malaysia good to know good to know give it. Some casts it shouldn’t bird’s nest. II’ve been pitching it a little bit I’m gonna flip. It a little bit I’d do. It lightly earlier so here’s just a serie. Ican go nylon mono. And it’s at least eight ounces yeah okay oh. That seven for gear ratio is gonna get. That lure in real quick. We don’t have any bass in. This pond we stocked. We got a bunch of bluegills so I’m thought about making a video with bluegill. And a fish tank and going I’m seeing how big. Ican get them so we decided to come inside. And close this video out cuz. It was getting dark outside. And the mosquitoes were getting bad but. Ithought that y’all know. That knowing fifteen pound fluorocarbon on.
This reel oh just a kiss y’all want to spool up yourself. You got a good example of what you can throw on. And yeah my dad in the dark my dad ended up throwing it. He can throw it farther. Any other real he’s used in the past, so he’s gonna go ahead. And stick with we won’t be returning any reels the Academy anytime soon yeah that’s good. He likes he can stick with. It that’s I have to say it’s going to conclude. This video guys thanks for watching drop a like. You want and keep in mind tight lines.
What is up guys welcome to. Another episode of fishing humble ascus today. Another casting battle. And the first real that’s gonna be our competitor is the Shimano Corrado 70 the. One with the smaller spool look. How beautiful it is $199 price point the. Ihave is a 71 XG 8 two-to-one ratios. And we’re gonna put. Some top on mono filament on. That against uh Corrado 200 K. Ihave the left hand 741. Ibelieve 200 sites pool much bigger spool. And we’re gonna put also top. All mono filament we will see who wins in. This battle alright guys we’re gonna get started with the Corrado k12 on mono filament 7 foot medium rod half-ounce drop-shot weight we’re gonna get started with the Korat okay let’s see. We can cast a hundred. And sixty-eight feet a hundred. And seventy-nine feet a hundred. And seventy-four feet. All right guys you saw dr OTT okay with a two hundred sigh school Corrado seventy with as much smaller schools up next same rod same line same weight 167 feet 162 feet 159 of heat
Hey guys justin here and i want to talk to you today about the quran okay i have. Fished this all year all spring all summer and I’ve got saying i am thoroughly impressed with this real hey. Guys justin here and i want to talk about a monorail that i have fished. Literally all this year it’s the chrono. Kick from shimano I’ve never hidden that. I’m a huge tamaño fan and I’ve used corr ado’s for a long time and i. Have a bunch the krodel ice i got a couple on board right now croquet is. Literally the return to the corr ado fame. Just the ease of cast ability the. Durability the strength of the real the. Sbs braking system on this thing which is amazing and you actually have an external dial right here for adjusting. It i usually leave it on three and never change it I’ve been throwing a weightless frog very easily out. Here i mean hardly got on it just a. Great real very powerful drag. System out of all the bait casters that. I have used the quran okay it’s probably. One of my favorites right now that i have in the boat and i have about three. Of them right now just absolute. Money and I’m throwing this frog just I’m bombing it out there we’ll see how. Far this goes this is just a zoom horny toad faurot hook nothing special 50. Pound or 60 pound max quarto braid set. On three i mean i think I’m vomiting that’s close. To like 80 feet 100 yards or 100 hundred. Feet 8200 feet just really easy. To bomb this thing i love it. No guys i gotta say shimano they have. Done this real right the svs braking system on this is. Tremendous do you a quick look you have. For some typical style breaks that you. Can turn on and off i only run to usually and then this little hub a. Little brass hub right here you can actually adjust when it hits those brakes by turning this dial here on. The bottom here and you got one through. Six i usually leave this on three to five depending on the bait that I’m throwing when I’m throwing a scum frog. Or a zoo lory toad i usually have on. Five because those baits really don’t. Weigh anything and i can still bomb it. Even on five you know sixty to eighty feet sometimes even 100 feet when i have. The wind on my back another thing i want to go over is the micro module gearing this is this. Differs from your standard gear ian’s you see a lot of bait casters on the market today you think about it we’re talking about the teeth on the main drive gear okay so on a lot of when you have these big wide teeth and you only get you know to the floor of them actually engaging on. The micro gearing you’re literally taking them all and meshing them they’re a little bit smaller teeth what you’re getting five — six — seven — eight teeth. Actually gripping which makes a much stronger gear system inside here another. Think i want to talk about and that is the action is absolutely. Amazing it’s on the it’s on the ci forced radek it’s on a lot of the upper. Level shimano reels and it’s on the chrono kit basically there’s a shaft. That goes through spool into the gear box and what they’ve done is actually supported that that shaft on multiple. Bearings which basically reduces the. Amount of flax on the spool so when you’re fishing you know heavy cover like with it on this up here i got 60 pound max quarto so when i throw this stuff. Way back in the slop and bring it back i. Now that this spool is not gonna give or have any slop or cause any damage to. The internal components of this reel when I’m horsing and cranking in through that slop with a big fish on the croquet. Is just a tremendous real. Retails i believe for one seventy-nine. Ninety nine all over the body on it. Just is a continuation of the corr ado. Brand and name from shimano and really. Is just a solid performer I’d give. It a an eight out of ten the reason i give it eight out of ten is basically. Because there’s always room for more improvement so guys that’s the corr ado. Cake it’s just a solid real so I’m gonna frame just it’s a warhorse real for a. Lot of through a lot of guys like guys interment trail fish this real i love. This real i got three on board that i. Picked up this year i got this particular one this is the extra fast. Gear once to the 8.2 to 1 gear ratio. This is the one on flipping and pitching I’m throwing frogs back into the weed. Matt’s i got it rigged up on a seven to. Heavy o-72 medium heavy fast action corr ado. Rod and I’ll talk about the chrono rods. And another review kind of go over those for you but those are also another great pick up but all guys rock a stupendous. Real solid performer you cannot go wrong picking up with one of these today. Jeez be free.

Hey it’s Josh over J. And H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia ambassador c4 — 5600 round bait casting reels Abu just did a complete refresh of these reels. Idon’t know how much they’ve been pushing it but. They totally change. These reels around and prove them gave them better cosmetics. Ilike the blue on this new reel really nice pretty shade of blue I’m gonna look great. When you’re out on the water fishing with. Iknow that’s not your main concern. You want to catch fish. And that’s why you’re watching this video. You want to these reels are. And they’re great you know. These are c4s have forever been. One of those you know standard bait casting reels. You know last your lifetime. You take care of them. You keep them clean. They work flawlessly easy to replace parts. Whenever you need them. And just a great overall value in a day. When there’s a lot of gimmicks. These are just sort of straightforward workhorse type of reels the c4 has as the name implies for ball bearings in their plus. One roller bearings with a total of five it’s got instant answer reverse. You know no problem there they’ve taken the handle. They vent it brought. It closer to the reel to make. More ergonomic same thing with the star drag which.
You can see right there. You can see how it’s bent it’s got the nice comfortable push-button knob. You like that’s the way to go. You know we’ll just push. It down to engage it turns the handle to take. It out of free spool. This size does not have a clicker as. You can see if you’re looking for a clicker go up. One size to the sixty-six hundred the 5600 holds 240 yards of twelve pound test mono which translates to about 235 yards a thirty pound braid 63 to 1 gear ratio so. If you’re fishing in saltwater six point three to. One is no different from. You know five point three to. One it’s its pretty much the same but. If you’re fishing with. These in freshwater definitely make sure.
However you’re fishing whatever you’re fishing with is applicable for. That gear ratio weighs in at just 10 ounces they’re nice and light cut the carbon matrix drag system so it’s a 15 pounds of drag at max. And they’re made in Sweden which is a big thing you know. Iknow guys don’t sometimes know they’re against getting reels made in Asia. You know places like China. Or Malaysia that kind of stuff. They want reels maybe the United States. Or maybe European company country. And Sweden is a good country. They make good fish. And whales the other big change for this reels they’ve added the their door gear to gear system. And basically that is its sort of like.
If you’re familiar with Shimano’s X ship it’s just a way to make the gearing more efficient. You have more efficient gears it’s easier to turn the handle without losing power so it’s a much smoother reel. Than the previous model. And then just great you’ve had. These on our boat along with the C 3s. You know since I was a kid just a great real retail on. This is just under 140 bucks. If you’re looking for a great bait casting reel. You can see how that’s bent in towards the reel makes a. More ergonomic it brings. Everything closer to the reel the other big change is. They added a booze during ear to gear system which is a. More efficient way of doing a gear system so. That the alignment of the gears give. More power with less with the. More effortless turn of the handle so. You don’t have to struggle to turn the handle to get the same amount of power. You would so it’s definitely a much smoother reel then last years. You could feel it right away. You know in China and other countries in Asia but. One is made in Sweden. They do a really good job of quality control. They make a great product so check. Ihighly recommend it’s got the push button right here. You can just push it down to putting your in a free spool turn the handle pops back up engage a nice comfortable thumb bar right there.
