Previously we showed. You the new bx5 san TM HD binoculars from loopholed in 15 by 56 millimeter. These amazing by nose provides superb optical performance but might be a little bit bigger. Than the average outdoors man. Or woman wants to carry in the field fortunately loophole also offers the San TM HD by nose. And an 8 by 42 a 10 by 40 to a 10 by 50. And a 12 by 50 our test model is a 10 magnification. And having used these on a doe hunt at first light. Ican attest to their super power to see in very minimal light at ten minutes before legal shooting light. Icould make out trees. And bushes easily and at. One minute after it was legal to shoot. They showed me a deer at 100 yards as clearly. As if it were early evening when. Ibrought up my rifle scope not a loophole. Icouldn't even see the deer in the scope. It was another 10 minutes of sunrise before the deer was visible in my rifle scope the Santiam is named for a hunting unit on the western slope of Oregon's Cascade Mountains. And is ideal for use in deep. And dark our boreal forests. Where animals may be concealed.
And speckled light are completely in shadow using state-of-the-art high-definition lead-free glass with face coating multi-coated lenses with bak for open bridge roof prisms with their twilight max HD light management system. And extended twilight lens system the Santiam binoculars have exceptional low-light gathering capability which in the case of my deer hunt was literally night. And day diamond coat to protect your lenses from scratching muck dust. And moisture and a proprietary nitrogen fill process keeps out. Any nastiness that might get inside. Or a thermal shock that may create condensation. And include your view available in. Either shadow gray or Sitka sub alpine camo pattern the rubberized housing not only protects your by knows from dings. And bumps but gives. Everyone this is the big-game hunter. Ijust want to take a couple minutes. And do a quick video review of these loopholed bx5 Santiam HD 15 by 56 millimeter binoculars. Now is fortunate enough to draw a mule deer tag in New Mexico. This year and the good folks. That are chocos were nice enough to lend. These binoculars to use on my hunt loophole just released. These binoculars this year. And the Santiam Zorlu Poltz top-of-the-line optics for long duration classing sessions for animals like elk mule deer pronghorn. And coos deer for that reason they're designed for use on a tripod like. Ihave here they don't have a stud adapter on him but Lupus does include. This velcros strap adapter with them. You buy a pair I don't know. How well this velcros will hold up over dozens of hunts but for what it's worth. They did just fine on. One recent hunt I have used. These binoculars on so. How well did these binoculars themselves work out for me on my hunt well. Ishot a nice 5 by 4 buck. And to tell you the truth. Iprobably wouldn't have found them. Iweren't using these binoculars the class is crystal clear. They have great light transmission excellent contrast. And there's no image distortion. Or fuzziness around the edges of the lens. They work very well for long duration glassing sessions. Iwas able to spend hours looking through. These binoculars with minimal eye strain. Or fatigue I was consistently able to find an. Even judge game long distances in varying lighting conditions.
While using these Santiam binoculars. Iactually found the buck. Iended up shooting while. He was bedded using these binoculars I've been glassing. That hillside for a pretty good amount of time. Icaught some movement. Izeroed in on that spot using the Santiam binoculars. Icould clearly see a buck bedded behind a tangle of limbs. And brush on the ground there's no way. Iwould have been able to spot him. He was bedded there. Iweren't using these binoculars. Now I'm not exaggerating when. These are hands-down the best quality binoculars have ever used during my entire hunting career not only to use great quality glass, but they're also sturdy. And well-built while they're not exactly lightweight. Or compact binoculars. They are small enough. You can carry them around without too much trouble. Even on a backpack cop also since there are 15 power binoculars. They give you a level of magnification approaching what you get with the spotting scope but since.
You can use both eyes at the same time. You have a much wider field of view. Than which you would get with a spotting scope. Even a pair of comparable 15 power but oculars. You can glass for long periods of time without having to worry about eyestrain. Or eye fatigue as much as. You would with the spotting scope. This makes them absolutely perfect for hunting in terrain like. You have a deer elk a pronghorn hunt coming up in a place like Arizona New Mexico. Or Wyoming where glassing is so important. You want a really good pair of high-quality binoculars to use. Icannot recommend the loophole bx5 Santiam binoculars highly enough well that's. You enjoyed my loophole vx5 Santiam HD 15 by 56 millimeter binocular video review thanks for watching please subscribe to my channel for greater videos have a great day.

Ijust wanted to take a quick minute here to do an unboxing video. These are the new loopholed pro guide HD mo hobbies they're in 10 by 40 to pick. These up this year for my elk hunt I'm kind of getting on my gear already we're here in July so. Istill got a couple of months but drink. Everything figured out. These are kind of here're the specs associated with. Igot the ones in the Creek tech Typhoon. And our typhoon you want to say. Ijust got a good deal of them is why I went with. Iusually go with black not a. Few huge fan of camel. And my binoculars not. That you'd lose them but why make. It a little easier — anyway let's open. These suckers up so. They kind of come with. All the standard gear looks like. You get a carrying case just the basically cold carrying case. You get a neck strap probably won't use. That much but it looks like it's nicely made. Itypically put mine on a harness so. When I'm a kit I'm hunting their ready to go. Ihung out of a backpack so. It just makes it easier without having to sling them over your shoulder here's um here's your kind of warranty. And guide book even sent. Me a cryptic sticker so those of. You who like stickers by the binoculars.
Iguess anyway everything comes pretty well packaged that's the there. They are there you get a little bitty microfiber cloth always nice to have those around probably use them. More for sunglasses. Ido binoculars but anyway got. Some eye covers here. That came along with. And there they are. These are tim by 42s again. These have the new HD clasp on them. Ilooked them at the store. Ican pair them to the regular just the regular bx-3 mojave the only difference between. And those is supposedly. They have the HD glass weights the same. You can get this really neat camo pattern. If that's if that's. What you like in the HD guide version can't get. That in the regular mo javis. Icompared them to the razors which is a vortex binocular great monocular definitely a higher price point usually those. They kind of run in the nine hundred twelve hundred dollar range also compared them to Nikon Monarch sevens which are a little bit cheaper but just trying to get. Some ideas compared them to a vortex talon.
And a vortex Viper the Vipers probably the closest comparison great binocular really like vortex stuff but ended up after looking through. It go with the Mojave pro guide HD anyway there're the binoculars. And there's the unboxing I'm pretty excited to get out in the field. These things to and hopefully find some milk with them anyway thanks. Any questions just post them up thanks.
Hi guys welcome to the controller. Me John today we haven't got. These the Leopold bx for pro guide HD 8 before. We too so before. We actually go in the pouch have a quick look round. It's a really lightweight canvas. You have the two MOLLE straps on the back so. You can put on about a backpack really very easily. You have an elasticated there're no clips. Anything so this is very quiet to open. And close elasticated locking loop first things first. This comes with lens protectors but. Idid pop them off mostly. Ijust found for a really nice lightweight thing they kind of just got in the way we'll start with the strap is again super lightweight. You have this nice mesh padded piece around the back. That does sit really nicely on the neck again actually. What I ended up doing with. These after a few days was popping them off which is of no hassle. You push these in it comes off. That leaves you with a really nice lightweight side pocket thing which for this sort of sitting stock we're doing is absolutely perfect.
Iprobably would use the strap. Iwere stalking woodland back on so technical specs first the weight. These are extremely lightweight icons but the goat goes with the whole pro guide thing they're 663 grams which were a buy know of the size. And class is not particularly heavy. And certainly don't feel having their hand well. They then don't like is the quality. That goes with them close focus is set at eight foot which is pretty good not. You go use binders at 8 foot. That regularly and the field of view is 7 degrees which is actually quite exceptional oh yeah. That works out at 7 degrees so the things I've noticed whilst using them the sharpness is absolutely amazing the actual clarity.
And definition on items. And to distance is pretty much second to. What I found is actually. That means you sacrifice a little bit of perhaps the color. That comes through them. Although you get definition it's not like my own personal buy knows. That actually the colors are very different. You can see edges an edge definition of these absolutely amazingly we've been hunting boar in Italy with. These we're out really early mornings. And very late a night up until dark relying on a bit of moonlight. These in moonlight I have spotted boar through. These in moonlight I don't have a lot. More to say about that but on a plowed field. Ican spot the outline of a boar through. When I'm really struggling to do. That with my naked eye so.
These aren't actually made in Japan as opposed to America which for Leopold is a bit of a strange move not particularly. Because actually why not get. These guys to do it they're doing a hell of a good job in terms of operation the eyeballs pull out like. You get almost perfect eye relief actually. They are really quite comforting on the face. These are very hard again. Another thing about. These is they do scream hard. You know I've not been particularly kind to them but. Iprobably should have been seeing as they're not mined. They really put up with. It focus is particularly easy setting up yourself with.
This little focus wheel on the back to actually sort of parallax between the two lenses couldn't be easier. It really couldn't be easier. It pulls itself into focus very easily. Ikind of almost depth of field. You get from this again I'm not really sure. How they've done these but. It is very good honestly. Iwill be completely honest. Ihated him as soon as. Igot on that purely based on the fact. That the color wasn't sharp as mine. Me a real a minute to realize. That doesn't matter. If I'm seeing a black. And white as long as I'm seeing what I need to see. And he'll they really do help. Ican say get behind a pair of B X fours compare them to the BX ones.
And the lower grades. Although it really isn't fair BAE but the shop has a pair of B X ones. They are very good but they're totally chalk. And cheese like with a lot of things. They should have called. Something else most people will go well. One on a four they can't be. That different just wow Sarah. Ireally like them I really like them. Whether they're the right. One for me long term. Idon't know but definitely try. It there I think they're a real contender for a medium to top range binocular so suppose the context comes in. That actually these are eight hundred quid that's not. That bad they are just shy of a range finding by.
Now in terms of price but actually it's a different kind of thing they're a lightweight hardcore thing. You can always rely on. That for me as well as the versatility of what they come with. It just works most much for watching guys take care we'll see. You soon hi guys welcome to the gun shop you.
Swaroclean coating on external lens ensure effortless cleaning
Nonslip rubber armor for a sure grip

Known for their expert craftsmanship, Swarovski's binoculars are designed using the best in mechanics and materials to create reliable optics for a lifetime of use. The SLC has been used by hunters and outdoorsmen the world over since 1989, offering razor-sharp images and high contrast with true color in from its HD optical system. The ergonomic design offers non-slip rubber armor and slim barrels enhance the functionality of this lightweight and compact binocular.
Welcome to base binocular view in. This video I'm going to be taking a look at. Most of the external features as well as the accessories. You get with this Swanky SLC 10 by 40 to binoculars for the full review. It contains full details of the optics use. You know the quality of the coatings as well as the glass the technical specifications please take a look in the comments section below of. This video that contains a link to the full review on my website. Ihave to apologize for the noise on. This video today as. You can see them a mouse on a farm. And there's you know it's its hi. Ithink they're preparing for the next year summer so. They do a lot of pruning of the nut trees behind. Me so there's a little background noise but. And a surprise you have to sometimes pay for living in the country the ocular lens cover. Or rain guard is quite a lot different to. That which I find on. Most other binoculars. It's made from a hard plastic as opposed to quite often they're made from a soft rubber. And has a ratchet system as opposed to just a flexible rubber bridge. That allows you to match the distance of the eye cups over here to fit over the eye cups.
And no matter what setting you. If you've set your binoculars to match the distance between your eyes. And as with most of the accessories on these binoculars it's made very well. It fits isin't securely over the actual the eye cups themselves. That shouldn't come away very easily by accident. And he does an excellent job of protecting the lenses the objective lens covers are made from a soft rubber. It just looks far more robust. And thicker what you get on. Most other binoculars like. Most butterflies it fits over the ends of the barrels quite simply but the fit itself is really nice and secure. And thus shouldn't come away by accident too easily.
They have a little tab on the top of. That just makes it a bit simpler to. You know flick it off what's really nice is the loop. You around the actual barrel of the binocular. And that's you know. When you're glossing you can just have the cover hanging down below the binocular. And out of the way but always handy so. You can quickly and easily replace them. You finish glossing and thus keep your. You know important lenses. And their coatings as protected as much as possible the rubber itself is quite a. You know a tacky rubber in. It does attract quite a lot of dust. And dirt as you can see on the video there. You know but you know that's a really small thing and. What I do like about the style of cover is. You know should for any reason.
You not want your thing to be hanging around below the binocular bit. You know it's quite easy for you to remove them. And put them away in your bag. And have a your binocular looking at have a lot of cleaner look to your binocular. Now should you wish the SLC binocular itself has a fairly standard roof prism design in. That the ocular lenses line up. Ispin in straight line with the objective lenses. And slight differences. That the they have a single bridge at the top which is quite thin. And located I've quite a lot closer to the actual eyepieces. Than the objective lenses. You know I have a nice feeling to. It leaves quite a lot of. This part of the bottom of the rear of the barrel exposed so.
You know there's plenty to hold on to. When you're using your binocular. When you're just carrying them around single-handed like. You know there's a lot of a lot of surface area to hold onto. You know have a nice secure grip on them. If you're not carrying them around your neck with a neck strap. Something like that the body itself is completely waterproof as. You would expect another Nokia of. This class and is filled with a dry gas which prevents internal fogging of the lenses. And the rubberized covering on the outside of the chassis is nice and thick so. It offers creature protection. It has also put on really well. You sometimes know on. Some binoculars it moves about of. This is there's no such. You know there's no chance of. This happening on these. This pair of binoculars the. You can see it has a fine texture on the actual rubber armor itself.
This just adds a bit. More grip to the you know to the actual rubber itself. What it's also important to mention here is as well as protection. This rubberized amo. It provides them a little bit of sounds. You know sound dampening I guess. You call that so for example. You know sometimes like my wedding ring and. You didn't have any rub again. You knocked it against a metal chassis. It would make a noise which. You know could lead to. You know freighting away. Some sort of timid birds. Or animals on top of. That it's a lot less reflective. It been then a metal exposed metal a barrel. Once again this helps cut down reflections which also could frighten away. Or give away your location should. You need to remain hidden the two thumb indents underneath the feet the barrels in a position nicely just know just there to just encourage. You to hold the binocular in the right way.
You know so you get them nicely. And balanced they feel really great in my hands. You know all it's just a really nice looking binocular. And let's finish it off really well the twist up eye cups on these binoculars are fantastic as. You can see the housing itself is made from metal. Most binoculars or a lot of binoculars. These days they have plastic ones. This is a part of binocular. That gets damaged the. Most often and used to be replaced so the fact. They made from maple means. That there's less chance of them being been broken. You know should you drop your binocular. Something like that but. You were as you can see. They can actually be unscrewed. And taken away which.
You know enter and replace should. You need a replacement like. That which you can actually do on a lot of binoculars the twist up mechanism itself is silky smooth is. One want to play at. It just has a really nice feeling to them with a full 16 millimeters of eye relief on these 10 by 42 versions. That should be than enough for most people who wear glasses to be able to. You know you test them down. And get your eyes of the perfect distance behind the. That echo ocular lenses so. You get the full field of view the. Another thing to mention over here is as long as the 60 bits as well as the 16 mils of viral 'if the their twist up. And down mechanism has indeed intermediate stuff like. It just gives that much. More flexibility to adjust them to suit your own personal. You know don't wear your face works. If you're wearing glasses the distance. You need to get it right. That click stop wasn't quite right.
You could actually stop them at. Any point along fully extended. And fully retracted position. You get your face exactly in the right position behind. It focus really is located in the standards position on the centre of the binoculars. Most binoculars it turns really nice and smoothly unlike. Some models that high-end models. That have a metal focus wheel. These are this is made from plastic. And has a rubber coating on. It so perhaps not quite as luxurious as. You get on some having said. It does turn really nice and smoothly it's very smooth no unwanted play. Or movement you know so. It works really well. And to adjust your focus from near to far takes as. You can see here just over two full turns of. That of the wheel this is quite a low gear mechanism in.
That to adjust from near to far takes. You know quite a lot of turning so thus a bit longer time. It would for a more aggressively gids mechanism the advantage of. That being though that making small adjustments to your focus to get them to ashley spot-on. And to view an image in incomplete. Imean a clarity with the focus perfect it's just. That much easier you know making small adjustments removes the moves the focusing plane. And lists us since. More aggressive gary unlike. Most binoculars that have their dietary adjustments located underneath the right eye cues to adjust your diopter on these binoculars basically it's located within the central focus wheel. And to engage you click out the focus. That early you can see. It reveals a the scale. And by turning that you're. Now adjusting the rights the right side of the binocular independently of the left.
And thus by doing this. You can compensate for any differences in the vision between your left. And right eyes you have. It at the right setting you simply lock. It back in place and get back to changing the focus on. Both sides of the binocular at the same time. Ireally like the system in. That for when it's its lockable so. You have your setting right. You fixed you can kick. It back in place and you're setting remains. You know will be the same forever. And having them located on the right eye PCU. You know they can move. And by mistake more often on top of. That Sikorsky have printed a full scale over here oh. You can see that in the video over there. This is again there's. Something you know should. You have to do is remember your setting so say. It was at 2:00 and instead should. It actually gets removed moved by accident sorry. You were sharing your binoculars who. Someone who helps has a different setting and say there was at zero at neutral.
And it's quite easy to just quickly turn. It replaces it to your setting and turn. It again this is really good. Most but most manufacturers seem to forget. They don't have any sort of scale so. It should it move by accidental should. You share your binocular. You have to you know redo the test to make. It lines up again some sort of mark on your binocular. Ilike the fact that the objective lenses. You can see here I'll sit quite DP back from within the ends of the barrels. This means that they're quite well protected by the barrel from. You know from physical damage but as well from. You know light rain for example. Or dusts you know it's just a bit less chance of falling and collecting onto the lenses.
This means you know. You should have to clean them less often. You know less cleaning means. They potentially will last longer in an absolutely pristine condition the next step. You get with the SLC is excellent. And far superior to. Most other next steps. Icome across frost odds. It is really well-made the sticking is. You know as good as. It gets see ya it's also nicely curved so that's an. You know designed so. It fits nicely over the back ear shoulders. And your neck so fits really nicely so make. It nice and comfortable on top of. You can see plenty of padding out to make. It really nice and comfortable. This part of the neck strap over here has. Idon't know it's kind of like a it's quite it's a very creepy grippy material which.
You know as well as being well padded it'll just stop. It from slipping around in your neck so the actual neck strap itself. That part of it is very good but in here's the nice piece over here the way. It attaches to the binocular is a little different. That I'll try to show. You over here instead of just reading it through. And having one of those sliding adjustments over here has a little pin. That fits through the through the material like. And basically what you got to do it's a bit fiddly to do. Ican do it quickly enough for you guys. You take it away like. One side you can thread your next step basically. When you're touching it to the binocular then I'll just do. Iwon't do I cup just well I'm just doing this for the video to make. It quick as possible so. You through you like. And you'd readjust the pin. That put the pin back through the strap through the hole so there.
You can see that the. This is a really you know. It fits really nicely. And definitely won't come away. And then it has a little cover. That slides over the top like. That make a look all nice and neat let. Me go so as you can see. That was pretty quick to do it's very secure. And then it has an over slider. You can adjust the length Sikorsky. You then have created. This little system over here. You actually have a click lock click like. That frees up the next strap to adjust the length to suit. And then once it's the right length. You lock it back in place. And works really well. And as one of the best neck straps. You can get out there. You know just the nice fine details like. That their logo their nipple logo put into the actual connector really well-made. You know it's not something.
You would specifically go out to buy a pair of binoculars for but it's its nice to see. That they've you know spend a good amount of effort as well as money into making the extras. You know as good as. It gets the included carry case. You get with these binoculars is as with. All the other accessories on these monitors superb as. It is really well-made. And whilst ice particularly is a softer carry case. Iwould probably go as hard sides a semi-rigid. That it's you know. It stays inflated with other binoculars in their office the villagers inside plenty of protection before opening them up I'll just go over the numerous ways. You can actually you know. You carry them and before. We put on the included strap. Idon't know you see over here there's a little place. You can hold him so. You could actually carry them in your hands like. You know it's really secure it's a. You know something really small. Something that obviously someone's spend at. Some time thinking about should.
You not want to carry around your net. Anything you could just grab them. And your hand like and really nice way to hold. It a little handle over there the. More usual way to have. It would be to be around your neck. You can see on the backyard. It is quick release clips. That the bag itself comes with its own strap which simply kicks into the into. One into and like that the strap has its own slider so. You could just that the length of. And then within the case I'll show. You quickly we just open. It up as a yeah as the first time first for me is. That a filled bag as a cause as opposed to a carry bag comes with its own instruction for operation manual. And that's basically. Because it's just showing you. How to attach the strap to the bag but then what's quite nice over there is. They show you can carry.
It around your neck like. You pull the strap a little tighter. You can actually use. And carry it around your waist. Most bags I simply have a loop. You can then thread a. You know your belt if should. You wear belt I mean I'm a guessing this in. This instance you don't actually need a. You know — haven't belt. You can use the strap. That the case comes with right, so I'm to gain access to the interior of the bag as. You can see is via these two zips run almost a full length of the bag zips are. You know they offer a really good way of ensuring. That it's completely closed. And in a quite watertight put inside.
One thing that's you know on the downside to. Iguess is the knowledge. It makes the opening closes. You know it is could be. Some instances this noise leads to. You frighten away a. You know a potential sighting or. Something like that's why sometimes a clip. Something at a magnetic clip. And can be better but it's not quite as secure as. You know some little features run away. And like and effective zipper over here has. You know a little leather. You know thing over there so. It just makes it a very small detail but just makes. It easier to open and close. You can see once again they've. They put they had the logo nicely on the front with in the bag. You have a number of compartments. And separate pockets. This is great for you know keeping you know personal items. You know lens cleaning kits etc. And should you need to it's a separate pocket over there. We look at special plenty of padding and to protect the binoculars.
One thing I will also like to just quickly mention is the bag caucus fit really nicely. Even with the neck strap into the bag. And that's with the lens covers on as well. Ican easily close I can't tell. Many bags are designed so tightly. It makes putting the binocular. And out of egg a real painting you have to. You know every time. You know pack them away with precision to make sure. You can actually close the bag up. It fits really nicely but. You know not too tightly. It makes it difficult to store your Oculus. If you're taking I close in. You know 100 times a day sometimes like. It gets to be a real pain.
And just shut you have to struggle to do. It every single time so there. You have it a really good quality bag whilst. You get a cleaning cloth with. Most pairs of binoculars. These days almost none of them are of as good quality as the ones. You get with and I'll show. It comes in this little envelope here. And the quality of the actual cloth itself is superb. And really as good as. It gets it's a really fine microfiber material. You can use to clean the lenses. And without too much fear of other. Than being scratched on top of. That you're then given a way basically. What they say is its a lens cleaning kit. And well not the whole kit to be honest but. This is a disposable.
And a moist cloth you can use for cleaning your lenses. Imean after I would highly recommend. Either get you don't have to get there the actual Swanky lens cleaning kits. Although it would be nice but get a professional optics cleaning kit to clean the lenses properly without damaging any other coatings. Or the lenses so there. You have it that's the quick rundown of the main external features as well as the accessories on these Swanky SOC 10 by 42 binoculars for the full review. It contains loads and loads of information on. Everything including our. All the optics and the specifications but as well as my opinions on the actual view through them comparisons with other binoculars. You know my thoughts of how after having use them out in the field but as well. You know under the microscope back in my office a piece does take time to click on the link.
And in the comment section below. It will take you through to the DVR website. You can see the full review so until next time. You know thanks for watching and I'll see.
On the Swarovski l42 range-finding binoculars I've been testing them for about 60 days. These are the 8 by 40 2s just like. All Sarah see the optics are awesome the rangefinder is incredible I'll cover. More later but there's a. Few features in the binoculars. That a lot of times. We don't think about them but. They really make them functional. And usable I think make. You a better glass or the easier. Something is to use the. More you're gonna use. And it's the strap system. And the lens covers. Iwanted to cover those today the strap system a lot of times. We don't think much about. It beyond comfort it's plenty comfortable it's got the neoprene band around. And provides a little bit of shock absorbency it's comfortable but. What I really liked about. This buckle system that allows. You to easily adjust the binocular to different lengths. And the reason that's important to. Me is y'all start scouting in late June early July I'll use my binoculars clear into December. Some years and therefore I'm going to be using them in a lot of different conditions with clothing and early in the season. Idon't have a coat on. Idon't want my binoculars flopping around hitting my bow hitting my weapon so. Ilike to use an underarm carry like. This so by adjusting. That strap out all the way. Ican keep them here they're easily retrievable. And I'll use them on the right side. If I'm carrying my bow. Because I'm shooting this way. Iwon't ever catch my binoculars. That way if I'm muzzle loader hunting or rifle hunting I'm typically carrying.
That weapon over here, so I'll switch as. Iget into the later fall. And I'm wearing more coats. And jackets I can go to a shorter carry. Ijust simply flip that pull. That up same on the other side. Imean 10 seconds and I've got them. That allows me to keep them inside my coat. And protected from the weather keep them from swinging and it's just really nice to be able to adjust them. That easily good jobs for Asti also the lens covers a lot of times. You don't think much about lens covers, but they're really important especially with. These high-end optics you've gotta protect your lenses not just from rain. And snow but from dust. You know you don't want to have to be wiping them off. All the time the lens covers on these are really functional. They have an axle in them just like your binoculars do.
And allows you to adjust them to the binocular so. That they're tight I will use a different setting on my barrels depending on. If I'm glassing off of a tripod. If I'm glassing tight against my face so it's really nice to be able to change. These to and obviously trade monoculars around with friends. Everything makes that those are always on tight. And the that'll just protect your lenses. Most of the binoculars I've only v'n the high-end ones the lens caps. They just sit on there. They flop all over the place. These don't they're quite so. More feature on there. That provides a lot of benefit is those lens covers. Ijust can't say enough about.
These small things to make a difference on a hunt good job Swarovski.

Welcome back to team our gear. Or actually welcome back to team wilds unboxing of incredibly cool gear. Now behind me you can see my Terkel rx helix super fast straight-pull rifle in 3006 whirring it's like a Magnus 15 to 10 by 42 hooba scope. Now this is the gear I'm taking with. Me wild boar driven wild boar hunting in the Czech Republic but seeing as. Iwas using a Leica scope. Ithought well I might as well use like a bi nose so the guys at your gun sent. Me this like is G over 10 by 42 range-finding by nose. Now I love range-finding by nose hey. Because I don't have to take a separate rangefinder. And be it's just easier. And more intuitive to look through your by nose ranging targets. Either the target your shooter. Or a bush or extra cover. You can help tactically. Me under your way towards a quarry. And they come in an incredibly shiny silver box so. It must be good right let's have a look inside okay so as. You can expect very pretty packaging as a train here. That has instruction manual in 78 different languages. What I like to see is. This it's a quality control certificate. That was made out by a human not by a robot the warranty card looks like. Some kind of feedback from the objective lens caps really useful save yourself a lot of wiping lenses small battery Duracell battery for the range-finding unit eyepiece covers.
And then the obligatory like an extra hour chances are. Iwon't be using this. Ilike to use my bio harness. Or my man bra as its otherwise known. And then here this is. Where they keep the good stuff so putting the shiny box aside. This is a nice case so have a look at. It now because the chances of. You ever see this again are very slim. Ijust don't use my case let's open. It up and here we have Wow. Now one of the most stylish Lee built optical instruments. Ithink I've ever seen. Now like it do my cameras. They are famous for making stylish. And sophisticated looking camera equipment. And these buy notes here. Ithink for that same sort of plan. Now immediately I'm thinking yeah. They look nice but do. They fit on my hands. And I would say I'm pretty used to using now let. Me get my voice by nose to give. You a comparison now.
These are my zeiss 10 my 45s. These are the thingsI've lived with in the bush for about three years. Now super rock-solid of throwing them in places. Ishouldn't have done really dropped them crawled in them dented them. And they still work absolutely perfectly so with the eyepieces fully extended that's roughly. What we play with now as. You can see these look. More stylish for them a lot. More angular so they're as. You like for like a zeiss 10 by 45 10 by 42, so they're not too dissimilar the like is way in at 950 grams. They just under a kilo the zeiss 995 there's ice has finger grooves here. And a more intuitive button placement. Iwould say when my hands go but. What I love about the Leica ones. This button here is long. And there is only one the amount of times I've played on the right-hand side with my zeiss.
And those chains and menu settings. And it's very annoying but. This button does fit in the right place so turning them around. We can see the underneath here. You can set different focal lengths for your eyes. You can adjust those. And it's very clearly easy to see which the red on the right. And then the white on the left. Now these are in sets. These are justice so it's highly unlikely. That you're going to accidentally knock them. When you're using the mouse in the field a couple of little fun grieves there. If you open the right up. You should just be able to see in there that's. What the housing where the battery goes just don't do. That probably do it my thumb to start with. And then slot the battery in. Now the extendable eyepieces here are actually really nice. They zoom straight out they've got kind of indexing one two three twos.
You know three different settings depending on your eye relief but. Once again a thoroughly attractive as well as functional packet. Now who's to know how. These perform okay let. You know in a couple of weeks times so there. We have it the locate G Ovid 10 by 40 to s. They look very stylish there's a couple of other exciting bits to them. Or features that you might be interested in firstly they'll work down to minus 25. That sounds pretty Cobras minus 14 BC last year. And I was glad that the equipment. Ihad have been tested to those sorts of conditions. Now I don't think I'm minus 25 as a limitation on the product itself. Ithink it's probably. More likely to be the battery. Because it minus 25 a lot of batteries do freezer it's also waterproof down to five meters. Now clearly we're not going to be using underwater. Unless I'm really unlucky. And lose my footing but.
That means that it will withstand the weight. And the pressure of water on the joints so you're not going to get water ingress into the mechanism. Or into the rangefinder so that's. Another really important factor not just water resistant but totally waterproof so compact stylish lightweight pack full of features. And the Ecuador coating on the lenses to keep those clean dust free. And hopefully free of water, so they're going with. Me now along with the Magnus. And all say the Terkel. And we'll let you know in a couple weeks time exactly. How we got on see you then subscribe to team Whiled TV for the best Berman busting hunting gear bow hunting and air gunning videos on YouTube.
Today I'm going to be revealing a new pair of binoculars. Istarted my research a. Few months ago I wanted. Something specifically for rifle hunting and. Iwas looking for a pair of premium top-of-the-line binoculars with lots of features again not just good but a premium product. While my search have found three models. That made my short list those were. These two ralph ski l 10 by 42 rangefinder binoculars the zeiss RF 10 by 45 rangefinder binoculars. And the ones you see here on the table the Leica G Ovid HD be 10 by 42 rangefinder binoculars so. What I did was I headed to Cabala's. Idid a side-by-side comparison. These were the ones. Iselected they were not inexpensive. They did run away with my card but in my opinion. They were the right choice for me again. They were the right choice for me but before. Icreated my shortlist. Ilooked at many other models vortex Steiner Canon Nikon low pole Bushnell. You name it but I'm sorry to say. These models did not make my short list. Ialso don't have anything negative to say about Sarov ski. Or sights I was basically comparing apples to apples the clarity on. All three models was phenomenal just ultra clear lenses. Iactually own a pair of Sarov skis. And have for many years. This a pair of Els here but. These don't have the range-finding capabilities built in that's. What I was looking for by the way. These aren't going anywhere so anyway. What I'll do is I'll break down. This pair here talk about the pros. And cons and then I'll do a wrap-up at the end.
They do come with lens covers on the front as. You can see this is the rangefinder in the front here. You have an activation button for the rangefinder. You have another button for your selection. And your different options. This is the focus wheel. We flip them over we have your diameter setting on the back here. We also have another setting on. This side that is for the focusing of the radical that's contained in the unit so. You want to sharpen. You can do these are ten power. And with a 42 millimeter lens. They do come with covers on top for the eyepieces the top. One has a little slit here so. You can weave it through the strap so. You don't lose them. And I'll set these aside. And since we're talking about the strap. This is the strap in my opinion. It is a little bit thin. You do feel it around the neck after about an hour so the solution for.
That is to use a shoulder harness to distribute the weight over your shoulders. And keep them from flopping around. This is a pair from my other binoculars. Ican use and actually. This is a better option. This is the case it came with it's a padded case its nice does have a little slot here for batteries. And extra micro SD cards has d-rings on the sides for strap loop in the back a belt loop. Idon't know who would wear. This on their belt but. You could you wanted to the binoculars to get stuck in there. Iwill say you have. These eye covers on they get caught up. And they're very difficult to extract getting back to the binoculars. They have these eye pieces which are phenomenal. They have five adjustment points so. You wear glasses no problem. You don't wear glasses again no problem but you'd simply turn them find a sweet spot.
And you're done they come with. This micro SD card this is really the game changer here. What made this pair of binoculars superior over the other two. Ilooked at pair of tweezers I'll talk about those in a second. And of course an instructional manual. They have 20 millimeter eye relief. They are thirty-four point seven ounces. Ibelieve that converts over to nine hundred. And eighty-three grams. If I'm correct there. They are submersible underwater for five meters. Or sixteen point five feet. This is the battery compartment down here. It also contains the micro SD card. And I'm actually going to open. Ithink it's relevant to the review. And I'll show that the cap does contain a little tiny o-ring keep them. Any moisture from getting in their takes a CR — not a cr123 but a CR — little camera battery so. You can see right there set. That inside you look closely. All the way in the back their let.
You a close-up shot there's the micro SD card. Ialready have these programs. And that's why they give. You the tweezers you have sausage fingers it's going to be very difficult to get in there so that's. Where it's contained. Ibelieve they correctly consolidated. Both the battery and the micro SD card in. This waterproof compartment. That was really smart getting back to the BIOS. Ididn't mention they are good to 18000 feet — 4 degrees Fahrenheit for the electronics inside. And 131 degrees they're actually good for minus 22 just the binoculars. This is called a / ger Porro prism design. What it is its a blend between a roof prism. And a poor a prism to give. You the best of both worlds magnesium housing the body. It has rubber armor coating which feels nice in the hand. Iwill say I did like the the grip on the Sarov skis better. It had the thumb grooves in the back but. Nothing to sneeze at very solid construction anyway let's talk about the microSD card.
This is really relevant to discussion so. What you have here is a micro SD card. That would go inside. This is after you would insert the adapter into your computer. You would go to the like a website go to their ballistics calculator. And there you would start making selections your caliber the manufacturer the type of bullet you're going to be using specifically the grain 270. Whatever you select. And your zero range. And then you're going to download. That data onto this card. It will extract the card from the adapter place. It into your binoculars. You are basically done with step. Iwill tell this is a multi-step process it's not. One two three then what you would do is you're going to carefully read pages 40 through 46 in the instructional manual. That comes with the binoculars. And you're going to start making your selections there the trajectory tables can be found at the rear of the booklet you're going to go there. They have the curve angles for the bullet they're in US settings.
And European settings. And you're also going to find your zero range they're mine is 100 yards that's the. Iselected selected specifically. Iselected that was the closest match to my bullet. That can be found on page 215 so basically. What I'm saying here folks. This is going to take time. It works better you have two people. One person can read the instructions off. While the other person can look through the bios as. You select your program settings take your time. This is not a 1-2-3 step. Once you've completed. That then I would recommend. You were going to go to the range. And you're going to do confirmation. And verification of your impact points. Now let's talk about the advanced ballistic system that's contained within. This within these binoculars. This system is designed to provide. You with a point a corrected point of impact that's.
Another thing that really made. These shine over the other binoculars so. These give you well. They give you the temperature they're going to give. You the barometric pressure but. More importantly they're to give. You the angle of inclination so. If you're hunting out west. If you're hunting in the mountains no problem in short the only thing you have to worry about is the wind. These binoculars will work with a standard Plex reticle. They will work as far as doing the traditional holdover. If that's what you want to do. You can use them what a B are H. Or B DC a bullet drop compensator. Or bullet drop compensating radical. Or a ballistic terror. What I mean by that is let. These back you have a reticle.
That looks like this no problem. You have just a standard flex reticle no problem. You have a ballistic Terry they're also going to work with. That so let's talk a little bit. More about their range. They do go out to mm at least that's. What the specs say they're up close ranging their up close ranging is 10 yards they're up close focus is 5 meters. Or 165 feet let's transition. And talk a little bit about. Some cons associated with. This unit a minor con is. That the there they are a bit tight in the case. Ipreviously mentioned. That they're they're a little difficult to extract but no problem. You remove the covers as well. Although you can range out to 2000 yards the corrected ballistic values only go out to eight hundred seventy-five yards. You use the custom settings. You can get corrected ballistic values.
All the way out to a thousand yards. Iwill say this is well beyond my range so. Something is that far we're. Either going to be closing the distance. Or we're going to head back to camp for soup. And sandwiches these binoculars are specifically designed for rifle hunting and. They are expensive I will say. If you're not a rifle hunter. More importantly if you're not a die-hard rifle hunter. They may not be the best choice for you given the hefty price tag. And the level of sophistication education in addition the programming process is not. One two three it does require careful reading and taking your time again. This is a precise instrument. And in my opinion you should take your time take. It to the range verify. And confirm your corrected impact points. They are a bit heavy for neck carry but no problem. If you're using a shoulder harness so to wrap up. Iwill say that the Leica geo vids can be customized for your caliber.
It can be customized for your bullet type. They can be customized for the various reticles. They will give you the atmospherics. They will give you the angle of incline. They will give you the angle of decline. They also offer scan mode for moving game the light-gathering properties are. Some of the best I've seen. They perform very well in low-light conditions. And for those of you who hunt. You know that a lot of stuff happens in. That first and last half hour of the hunt. They are waterproof. They are fog proof they're built like a tank. They are truly professional-grade binoculars in fact. They have been advertised as being the world's best hunting binoculars. Idon't know if that's true, but they're damn close that's for sure so there. You have this concludes my presentation thanks for watching I hope. You enjoyed the video.
Hi folks I'm going to cover the differences in the leica range finding binoculars. This is the G Ovid HDB 3000 so. You have your button. You have your mode and your trigger on the right barrel the mode is the depressed button the trigger is the raised button. One also accepts an SD card. You put the battery in so. You can plug in the ballistics for your different calibers. It also is going to give. You tenths of a yard out to 200 yards so. You would get 684 and so on. One is the r version which as. You can see the button is on the left barrel. You have angle compensation starting at 10 yards. It goes out to 1200 yards but. You need to pick yards. Or meters before you order. Where the HDB and HD are you're able to switch those modes in your settings.
Hello guys and welcome to. Another review here from the optics trade today we'll be reviewing a pair of binoculars made by Leica. This is a Ovid HDR 10 by 42 their laser range-finding binoculars like over the first two ever produce late laser range-finding binoculars for the civilian market. That happened in 1992 the model. That was released then was called give it just like. This one so you can see. That the name that we're talking about has quite a long tradition before. We start talking about the HDR series. We have to say a little bit. More about the HDB series so HDB binoculars also gave. It comes with a unique ballistic calculator. That allows the user to program his. Or her own ballistic curve. Now with the help of the microSD card the user can transfer the custom set ballistic curve to the laser range-finding system of the binoculars. This is of course a great feature but. Most hunters do not need to do not need such advanced technology for most hunters so let's say 90% laser range-finding binoculars with the equivalent horizontal range function will do just fine.
And these binoculars do have the EHR so the equivalent horizontal range capability for hunters EHR is especially useful. When aiming at targets. That are located higher. Or lower now when shooting at such targets again a kind of change ballistic conditions apply. This device so the HDR give it calculates the equivalent horizontal range using the measured linear distance. And a correction factor which is based on the parameters angle temperature. And pressure now this binoculars allow the user to turn the EHR function on. And off the reading will allow the user to compensate for the bullet drop the EHR in. These binoculars will display from 10 meters to 550 meters for safety reasons. Now they also feature a scan mode. If you press the measure of measurement so the measurement button yes there's.
One here and press. It again to hold it the device will switch to scan mode. Once in scan mode the distances will be displayed continuously as. You do the panning and hold the button in scan mode the EHR value. That we were talking about previously. If turned on is only displayed after the last measurement. Now of course using the scan mode will result in greater power consumption so the last generation of gear widths. Or like a constantly updates their gear with binoculars the last generation has the capability of measuring distances up to 2500 meters which is extraordinary so the updates are basically just in the field of the range-finding capability so the distance of measurement. We believe that probably the updates are software related to give it so range-finding binoculars are really stood out in the field of range finding binoculars. And the HD b version so the.
One that has a ballistic calculator integrated has the best almost the best ballistic calculator on the civil market in the field of range finding binoculars. You can see that these are quite long, so they're 177 millimeters long. And they're 143 millimeters wide. When fully extended. They are not really light so. They weigh approximately a kilo they're from magnesium which is a great addition so great material magnesium makes them very durable very robust the surface is rubberized for a better grip. And better feel you can see. That they feature an open bridge construction here. And as a result they can be helped with a single hand which is great. When observing so this is a big plus for these binoculars the focusing button is here is. This a little bit inconvenient in an inconvenient location. You have to put move your hand a little bit back from the optimal position to access.
And to actually rotate the focusing button but not a major issue field of view is 113 meters on 1000 meters let's talk a little bit about a battery compartment so the battery compartment is here. You can be the cap here can be unscrewed with a coin. Or a special tool and. Once this cap is removed. You a cr2 battery has to be inserted. And a single battery in classic conditions will hold for about 2000 measurements so which is pretty nice. Now let's pay a little. More attention to the design. You can see that it has an interesting design the tubes are not straight they're a little bit curved the reason for this construction is in the presence. That are used in these binoculars.
These device features. That get poorer prisms. They are patented by Leica. And these prisons are. One of the main reasons why the gear with HDB. And HDR have such superb optical qualities so. They have a really high light transmission rate low levels of chromatic aberration. Now to have a high light transmission rate is really rare in the field of range-finding binoculars but. These of course stand out of the crowd optically. They are really superb. And perhaps we can say. That really a low amount low number of range-finding binoculars on the market can match. These they also I already said. That they are made from magnesium. They of course offer great build quality like. Iused high quality materials on the inside. And on the outside there are two buttons on the device with. This one you can manipulate with the settings. While this one allows. You to measure distances to the targets. They are different as.
You can see this one is a little bit indented. This one is a little bit. More protruding and. This is great because. You can actually tell which. One is which just by filling them so. When you're observing you do not have to stop preserving the look at so. And look on the surface to see which button. You have to press you can just observe. And simply feel which button is which so. This is also a great feature. Now it's time to analyze the eye cups let's see. How good they are like is known for quality eye cups. And when you feel. These eye cups you can tell. That your bit of course is no exception. And they can be stopped in multiple positions. They will hold the position really well.
They can they when the rest. When you rest your eyes. And then it's really convenient feeling so. They have seven positions. Ithink they are rubberized really is a high quality field offers firm support definitely. Iwould say among the best eyepieces in the binoculars market at the moment the then. We have the diopter setting which is on the left ocular the radical focus is on the right ocular. This mark with a red line the diopter for your eyesight is marked with the white line in our case so the radical focus will enhance the focus the illuminated display let's talk a little bit. More about the magnification so. This is ten times magnification so. This by now these binoculars will be a great choice for those who shoot on long-range distances.
And are mostly made for observations during the day for those to whom precision. And detail are more important. Than low-light performance ten by forty-two is a better choice. Then any by forty-two but for those who want to have a better performance in Twilight the eight by forty-two will be better because of the greater exit to pupil what's about the coating so there is a hydrophobic coating on the external lenses like a named. This coating aqua dura which is great. It prevents you from accumulating on the lenses then there is. Another cool thing called high durability coating and. It is applied on the lenses as well to protect them from abrasion. And to enhance the light transmission rate of the binoculars.
Now let's move on and say. Something more about the scope of deliveries so. What you get when purchase the HDR gear with binoculars of course. You get a pair of binoculars. And as we said they are really high quality. You get a bag with a like a logo on in which. You can stash the binoculars. They look really nice and very convenient for use then. You get a lance cloth to clean the external part of the lenses. You got a warranty card. And which you can see. That with like a give it. You get five years of warranty then. You get a proof certificate which actually there is a claim by. This you have there. You know that the before. You got your gear it was had to a rigorous testing procedure so various professionals had to check. That everything is as. It should be before. It was delivered up to the store then. We have the instruction manual.
That isn't available in. Many languages in. It you'll also find the technical data. And data in the. This table of specifications. You also get a battery of course. And rubberized, so I've made out of rubber protection from for. Both the ocular and the objective lenses. And you also get a neoprene strap with a like a written on. It so quite a wide array of different things. And the price of course is also the interest. That the 2700 versions of the latest model of the gear series costs 2600 euros. And is a little bit. And it's approximately 400 euros cheaper. Than the HD B model with a ballistic calculator.
And the latest model as. Isaid is capable of displaying distances up to 2500 meters. Or 2700 yards now we have come to the end of. This review so let's talk about let's. Once again point out the advantages. And disadvantages the advantages are so the optically. This is really superb. And perhaps on the civil market at the moment. These are the best optical the best range-finding binoculars as regards the optical quality among. All the range finding binoculars. That you can find on the civilian market. They since there are light transmitted. And since there these are range finding binoculars. You obviously don't expect such a high light transmission rate but. This really standout as regards. It so they're really only a little bit worse.
Then those that do not have laser rangefinder cape but the differences are really minimal. These will perform great. Even in Twilight especially the 8 by 42 version of these binoculars then also great quality eyepieces the build quality the fact it's made from magnesium so the open bridge construction as well. That allows you to hold in. One hand and for everyone. That does not need the advanced ballistic calculator which is the majority of hunters. And they really all. They really need is an EHR function so the equivalent horizontal range. And for a 400 you it will be pointless to spend 400 euros. More if you really don't need the advanced features so.
This far-off ski is for example 500 euros. More expensive and. It also only offers the PHR so like is great competition to. That particular binocular so the e l range the last generation so as. Isaid measures up to 2500 meters of distance so the same as other versions before. It is same in all other aspects except the measuring distance. And it's for now in the field of range finding binoculars really like. It is ahead of other brands so. These are all the positive sides. Now they're really almost no disadvantages but. Some are they are there are. Some and I do have to point them out the focusing knob is the first thing. That it could be for example located here would be much. More convenient for the user then also the size it's a little bit huge. And it's a little bit heavy but. These are. All minor issues if considering.
That the other qualities are so superb. We can conclude that. These are superb range finding binoculars. And it's hard to find anything. That is not perfect. And to anyone who is going to who is considering buying these. You will not regret the purchase. These really are a great pair so. We have gotten to the end of the review. If you found it useful. And hit like hit subscribe. If you have any additional questions. You can leave a comment down in the comment section. Or you can also send. Is an email, and we'll be glad to give. You a reply thank you guys for watching and see. You in the next review you.
And welcome to another episode of optics Terry debates I'm on the rush my name is Tara hello. And we're currently doing debates based on like binoculars. All our previous debates were based on. When oculars that do not have a laser integrated laser rangefinder so on the standard plastic binoculars but. This debating with the first. We are going to touch the laser range-finding binoculars made by like. Us of the series gear V. We have here some models so. We have the h-e-b the HDR. And our model we are going to start. This debate off with a little bit of history about the giving like as always about history it's always about. Us first of they are producing the knockers 400 in ten years. They are one of the. One of the producers which is considered to produce the best in others in the world. We come to the range finding binoculars.
They are in the class of their own. We could say first of. They were the first company which introduced the range-finding binoculars. And put them on the market the civil market the list. This was in 1992 so. This was the goe. That was the first mentioning of. This name the govt 742 in — ID — Billa with the range finding capabilities those housings are still used by. Some manufacturers today in Switzerland there is a company which still produces range finding binoculars on Blake as foundation. Icould say however like a move forward with big steps since 92 later. They were also the first company which introduced the range finding small range finding mono pod to the market. They are called the range master but let's stay with the giblets currently in 2018. We have three different lines of Jewett's so. We have the jewett art which is basically the classic line which is available since 2005.
They were refreshed. Many times since then. This is the last incarnation which was in 2016 during out the story was there was the first Jewish in 2005 for this form factor it's. You look them outside they're completely the same then in 2009 came out the Jewett HD which was basically the same but with a better lenses with a better optical performance. And since 2009 it was to take. All the way to 2000 2016. They did the jewellery are optically is very similar to the HD the difference is. It measures the angle. And gives you the equivalent horizontal range which the HD the G with HD from 2005 didn't 2009 didn't give. You then we have the HDR I'm going like from the. More affordable to the less affordable.
Or for basic to more advanced the HDR came out in 2015. And the first incarnation had HDR type 400 to type 403. And type 500 in their name so. They were. Or less optically and in design-wise the same as HD be the best go8 of the market at the moment. They lack the advanced realistic compensation programs of the ABC problem so. They lack the ability. You will be able to choose the ballistic curve. That the binoculars would give. You other cliques or holdovers so. These binoculars gave to the customer really extremely high quality optical performance. Because there were poorer prisons. Iwill talk more about the HDB about. This design but at the same time. They give you only the equivalent for a sort of range. They don't give you advanced ballistics to be honest until. This year 2018 introduction of science victory alright there was no competitor.
That would give than HDR the HDR was giving you the equivalent horizontal range like. All the competitors but at the same time. It gave extremely good optical performance extremely fast measurements. Ithink at least in my experience like as the fastest among. You push the button. You get the reading immediately. And also the range finding capabilities are at least in my experience better. Then with all others so. These new HDR can already measure up to 2500 meters 2500 yards again. This is the latest moment in 2018. Because in 2015 the HDR cat the acronyms type in 402 for 842 type 403 410 by 42. And type 500 for 856. Now in 2018 they refresh the. More wine they get rid of the economy type in their name which is a really smart idea in my opinion. They just gave the number of the arts binoculars are able to measure so. They are all mark there's two thousand seven hundred so the main upgrade was the range of detection. Nothing else changed only the range of how far.
You can measure was changed so. It went from 1800 meters to 2500 meters. Icome to the HDB this mall came out in 2013. It was the first binoculars in the world. That had the teleport er prisons. And it's still the only binocular like the HDR. And HDB are the only binoculars in the world which featured it's. This prison it's a unique design used only by Leica. It enhances optical performance so. You get a better impression of depth of field of view. It gives better light transmission rate. And especially it's also economically quite easy to handle because of. This present because can see. That it's I could say shaped like a banana design yeah feature slope.
And alongside what the age will be featured in 2013. And still does it featured really advanced ballistic calculator inside so. It measures the temperature. It measures the angle. It measures the air pressure. It takes this data into the ballistic calculation. You have 12 preset ballistic curves inside from which. You can choose and choose. You have to choose one which fits your actual ballistic curve the best but. It also features an additional port for the SD yeah it's under here in the battery compartment next to. It never tries to open the battery compartment to the coin. And always use this with every duel. This tool from Letha which is really easy to use. And to open so you avoid scratching the cap.
This is the first step always use. This cool well in this battery compartment there is a small port for the micro SD card. And there is a software made by like which. You download on your computer. And you're able to insert to your own custom ballistic curve inside of the laker HTP. That means these binoculars are then paired with your actual rifle. And performance of your ammunition in your reference so it's the margin of error becomes really small. This is the main difference compared to. All competitors until. This year nobody had a competing product with similar capabilities not size as. It but still we could argue regarding the optical performance so. This was a big I would say breakthrough in 2013. Now in 2018 they came out with a mobile which is completely the same in.
All the functions but it's marked 3000 so the HDP 3000. That means it measures up to 3000 yards so there is around 2000 fifteen years so. They increase the range of measurement in the mean time from 2013 to 2018 until. This three thousand dollars came out. They have even two intermediate series. They had two thousand to two hundred addition so. It was limited edition which had a range of two thousand two hundred yards. And then they have an addition 2017 which was cream but basically it's the same product. They only increase the measurement distance the measurement range. Ithink it's really worth pointing out as well. That usually it comes to laser range-finding binoculars the light transmission rate is lowered because of the integrated system but here with geog rids it's actually on quite a high level because of the time applying yeah prisms yeah.
And the presents really add enhance the life admission rate. And generally also the field of video is great. This is definitely one of the best. If not the best range value lockers on the market. And normally it also carries a really famous name of course so the jewelry is the. Most famous name nobody produces so. Many versions of range-finding binoculars. Than like everybody else has. More maybe two months well. Igot has a bunch of different models with. It with a Jewett are. You have eight better 42. And ten to forty-two then. Ihave eight by fifty-six. And 15 by fifty-six. These are able to measure up to two 1000 bahts over 300 yeah 1300 yards 1200 meters.
They do also give you the equivalent horizontal range then with an HDR 2700. They measure up to 2500 meters. Or two thousand seven hundred yards. They have three models 8 by 40 to 10 but 42. And 8 by 56 like this is really they're a little bit bigger not really bigger. They are a little bit heavier. Then the 42 models but. They are better the better in little life. They give you only the equivalent horizontal range similar like. They are but they have a much longer but. They do have the temperature sensors yeah biometric sensors. Ihad the angle inclined sensor yeah. You can only see the reading you can see. What the temperature is. You can see the angle. You can see the pressure. It doesn't calculate. You the whole ballistic curve. What the HDB does the agent with. It calculates exact number of clicks. Or holdover or gives. You only you land horizontal range but. It takes into account your constant ballistic curve your actual ballistic curve so in HDR.
And HDB there are three models in. Both series 80 40 to ten to forty-two. And eight by fifty-six so the technology implemented in the HDR is perhaps. It has the features. Most hunters need today. This would be enough for most. This is probably the best buy. You can buy it gives. You the EHR so the cream on the horizontal range. This is perhaps the. Most important thing but. You need but this is the top of the. Iwould say the top of the cake yeah it's its the best. You can buy the difference between. One gives you click. And hold over one gives. You only the current horizontal range which. One can also give you can program. One works the same as the HBO.
What about the difference in the price here is it's quite big. Ithink it's like 500. Or 600 euros something like. You have to calculate. Whether it's worth giving additional 600 euros for the monkeys. You might not need yeah. You have to calculate. Iin my experience most of the customers goes for the HDB. Because it's the top of the line. However the HDR it's the best buy in my opinion. Because it's really affordable. You compare it with other competing manufacturers. It offers the same functions. It measures quicker. All others it has superb optical performance. It has superb build quality. All the functions you actually need in. Most cases HDR it's almost the best buy at least in my opinion.
Because the advanced ballistic compensation functions basically. You binoculars give. You the whole dauber. And centimeters or inches. That binoculars give. You the value in clicks depending on which. What is the size of. One click on your rifle scope. You can set this setting inside of the menu. And then it gives you the clique number. What people do't don't need. This to function so. This is the reason why I think. That HDR is Best Buy. Igo to pricing we have three different licensed products. Everything starts at jewelry art which starts at around 1850 euros. It goes to two thousand five hundred depending on the model so. You have eight by 42 is the cheapest then 10 by 42 it's a little bit. More expensive you have eight by fifty-six. And fifteen by fifty-six is the. Most expensive around two thousand faculty then. We look at the HDR 2700. This goes from two thousand five hundred euros to two thousand nine hundred. This 8 by 42 starts to run two thousand five hundred euros 8 by 56 HDR 2700 ends at around two thousand nine hundred years.
And the HDB starts at around two thousand nine hundred. And goes all the way to three thousand three hundred so it's not 1850. It goes to two thousand five hundred three thousand three hundred euros in. This range I think it's also important to mention. That with HDR HV you also get the ocular coating which the the our model lacks. And also on the HDR HTP. You will find like as famous eyepieces which are. One of the best this way styling with. Ican four different settings. They can really be fixed in. Many positions they hold the position wisely. Once their face well in essence within HDR. And HDB with this corporate prison. You also see that there is a difference in optical construction the optical design so. They do perform optically better. Than the Geo with our models the giad are still has. Iwould say the same optical construction life in 2009.
When the HD model came out. And normally until 2013 the development did advance. And like a really invest a lot of effort into making this so. This is an outcome of the target portal prisms right it's a little bit bent. This is the superb optics is also an outcome. This bracelet savers. And normally all the coatings. Everything I think also the outer cortex is the HDR know. How it's called the coating which protects against cream butter also protects from aggression to degrees. And then this HDR takes. This seven to a higher level normally. You take some sharp object. And make a scratch on. You will still make a scratch. Iwouldn't recommend no but uh. It does protects lenses the outer surfaces a little bit.
More against I would say light scratches. And unintentional so yeah. We have high durable coating and the aqua pure coating is also played they're. All made in Portugal in the lake Factory. They come with five years warranty. And with all the accessories expected in. This class from the binoculars so the rain covers the rain guards the carrying strap bag. And there's also a couple of additional accessories which. You can which you can buy separately for this vinegars wife is known for producing many high-quality accessories for binoculars like different cave steps from leather from different high quality materials. You can also get the stripes of. More comfortable weathering and so on. This hour, so we covered the build quality will cover the optical performance. We covered the coatings the price range the model range the history.
We caught most of the things but. You forgot something of course leave a comment in the comment section. Is an email and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel to like. This video check out our other videos. Because there's this came from. And see in the next episode bye-bye thank.

What I have here in my hands is the newly introduced 42 millimeters like a Trinidad binocular. You may be familiar with. That name it's a classic binocular from Leica. Although this is a brand-new design new interpretation. And it's the best Trina of. Yet let's take a look at. Some features so. One of the first things. Inoticed about the trin of is. Ipulled them out of the box is. That like a look to. It a really clean profile here straightforward aesthetics signature red dot from a design perspective it's. Everything you'd expect from a like a binocular as well it's got the twist up. And down iCup mechanism to allow for users. Iglass users it has a removable eye cup on. It as well so you can service. And right there is where you're going to find this serial number of your binocular to register. That great like a warranty. That comes with another key feature is going to be. This integrated diopter into the focus wheel simply pop out the diopter mechanism adjust. And lock and it's ready to go. All packaged in our incredibly robust chassis it's waterproof submersible. And ready to go anywhere expect your new trinity binoculars to come with a set of tethered objective lens covers a rain guard for protecting the ocular lenses premium neck strap padded Cordura nylon case owners manual lens cleaning cloth. And also a lifetime warranty from Leica North America in addition to. This lifetime warranties. It also comes with a three-year passport protection plan so for the first three years. You only use binoculars.
They are warranted against. Any damage accidental. Or otherwise just send. It into Leica and I'll be sure. They get you back up. And running in no time so as. You can see Leica has gone. All out to make this the best trin of. It models yet with a host of fantastic design features superior optical performance. And a ruggedness and durability. That means you can count in. This binocular in any situation.
Welcome to this short video review of Letha 3 in width 8 by 42 HD binoculars. These binoculars are made by Letha a very famous optical company from littler from germany. You probably know this is the latest generation of a twin with binoculars Drina with itself is an old name. It appeared for the first time in 1958. When late introduced their first Drina will be knockers afterwards. They were quite a few newer generation. One Letha twin with HD is the latest so. We look at the content of the box in which. These binoculars can cane. You can see they come with lens protecting caps for objective. And eyepiece lenses so. You can protect your binoculars. While in transport the binoculars also come with a really nicely made soft carrying case with Letha logo on. It with a carrying strap with like a sign for carrying around your neck. You also get the warranty card the warranty of these binoculars is 10 years. You also get a thank-you note from like up. You bought these binoculars. This is also contains the registration form which can be sent back to Leica so. That your product is registered. You also can provide your email.
Or address for use from Leica the instruction manual covers. Everything what is what you need to know for using these binoculars. How to set correct the object setting how to correctly position the eyepieces. And so the general information for use. And maintenance each binocular which come from the factory also go through quite extensive test procedures so. You get a test certificate. It shows that your binoculars were tested. And checked before they leave the factory so. That there is everything okay with. Now about the binoculars itself. These binoculars are very small very light compact. And made from really fine materials the build quality is really high for this price class so immediately as. These binoculars in hand. You know this is a high quality product. They have a really nice ergonomics with. This feature here you can hold them really nicely. They are waterproofed. And also fog proof this means. That they're filled with dry nitrogen so. Even the lowest temperatures.
They don't fog internally the binoculars itself is made are made in portable. Where Lipa has its big factory for their laser rangefinders. And three novel binoculars mm but. They were designed in Germany as. You can see the high quality materials are not only used for the outside also the inner focusing mechanism. And axis of the binoculars are made from really high quality materials because of. This string will be nopperz are a little bit better. Than competition in tough conditions like low temperatures. When it's raining or snowing and so on. You don't even see a difference in their functioning even. If the temperatures are really low. They have a 42 millimeter objective lens eight times magnification.
What is normal for this class of binoculars. They have a Schmidt. And Pahang prism system. This is why they are so short. This binoculars will. It makes them special is. That the internal reflections. And flare and so on is really nicely corrected so. You get those nice like vivid colors really strong colors. And almost exceptional optical properties for this price class probably best in class. Now about the focusing mechanism is central is going to see here. You also correct the diopter setting with an upper part so. You are using the binoculars with without eyeglasses. You can correct the set. Or the optic setting here the focusing mechanism it's really has a nice feel to. It goes 450 degrees around a little bit. One full rotation as. You can see it here so 450 degrees approximately.
It really has a nice feel so the ergonomics is it's almost perfect. What is also special in. These binoculars for this price class is the eyepieces itself as. You can see they give great support. They are made out of quality materials. They have five different positions. When setting your appropriate eye distance from the from the lens in the eyepiece really great for this product the price class. They offer great support. These eyepieces could really be an example for all other manufactures. How to make high quality eyepieces which give great support. And have many different positions possible to set so. We summarize these binoculars about. These binoculars they're really small compact. And light they have a great build quality. And high quality materials for the outside. And also for the internal mechanism.
They offer really vivid colors like expected from Leica. And also great other optical properties so. What we could also say is. They probably offer the best optical properties in. This class and almost certainly the best eyepieces. If you're using glasses. If you're using binoculars without. This would be a great choice for you thank. You for watching and. You wish to get more information about life at innovate HD binoculars please click the link below you.
Welcome to an optics trade review. What I have here today is like as nacht. If it's ten by forty-two. This is at the moment. One of the top three binoculars with a 40 42 millimeter objective lenses. You can find on the market the art to being Swarovski PL. And of course size victory SF but before. We get down to the unique features of. These binoculars we'll have to talk say a little bit about the history of. This type of binoculars so. All started in 2007. When Swarovski introduced their first L binoculars which were revolutionary. They have the reputation of being the best binoculars on the market. That for quite a long time. They were the first example of open bridge binoculars which meant. They could be used single-handedly. Another innovation was Swarovski his implementation of field flattening which. They named smart vision. They managed to achieve a flat field of view. And with it better at sharpness because of. More details could be seen. When observing now the negative side was. That the users often became nauseated especially. When panic they became a great hit. And were especially favored among bird watchers. Now Sarov ski L binoculars were a must-have for all the professional bird watchers out there other brands could not compete with Swarovski at. That time now quite recently size. And like managed to come up with an answer to. This here is like us answer to Swarovski yeah Leica is a German company. And they're known for producing optics.
And high-end cameras like an octave. They name it features an open bridge construction like Al. It also features field flattening lenses. And because of these lenses the edge sharpness is significantly improved. They haven't went so far as to completely flat in the field of view like Swarovski so. Some barrel distortion is still present. This means that the image is slightly angled at the sides but. This is not necessarily a bad thing if the image is slightly angled at the sides then padding is easier to do. And less confusing for the user as. Imentioned some people became nauseated after panning with Swarovski al for some time. Because the completely flattened field view the image. These binoculars also seems less artificial. You have to keep in mind. That our eyes are round so not flattening the field completely does also have positive benefits. This particular model here is the 10 by 42 so. It has a 10 times magnification 42 millimeter objective lens.
And the other model available is also 8 by 42. What I also have to point out here is. That here I have the black model Leica also released an olive-green model. Ihave here which really looks nice the combination of olive green. And black really goes well together. And but optically it is completely the same. These are made in Germany. And are quite heavy. And are heavier than other similar binoculars with the same configurations. These weigh around 900 grams. They are 155 millimeters long approximately 125 millimeters wide which means. They are fairly common. That they're quite compact. And given that they're equipped with 42 millimeter objective lenses. Iwould say they are great for mountain hunting and bird watchers they're also a perfect choice for those who want to have the.
Most details when observing and the outstanding resolution. These binoculars offer will for example allow hunter to thoroughly inspect a trophy. Even at longer distances. Now like as advantage is definitely the self-lubricating focus system. What this means so this basically means. You will get the same observing experience at. All temperatures at minus 20 degrees Celsius the focus works the same as at 30 degrees Celsius the housing is made from Museum which makes. One of the this is probably. One of the best materials for housing at the moment. It is next to impossible to manufacture binoculars. It would be more durable. You have them for quiet. Some time so for plenty of years because of the extremely well-built quality. And the way it's made so. What else like an octave.
It is also know known for a particularly slow focus which means. You have to rotate the button quite a lot to get the desired focus. Many people are big fans of. This is not necessarily a disadvantage of these binoculars. Now the buyer will get nice objective lens covers which are attached the housing this is great so. This means you will not lose them. That as easily as in. All other as it is possible. You have everybody have to attach them every time objective lenses are also well protected against the scratches in. This way when you're not using them. When you're carrying them around for example in a. This back or in a little bit bigger pocket. Now the protective cap for the ocular lenses is also included it's also simple to put on. And remove but this is not attached in the same manner as the objective lens covers like an octave.
It comes with a nice looking case with a like a logo on. This is typical falaka Leica. It is not only very useful but also very fashionable inside. It is nicely padded so. This is really a great place to store your binoculars really soft so let your lenses will be protected. If there are no cars on a great case without doubt then in the Box you'll also get the neoprene caressed in like fashion with like a written on. It very nice you also get as it's typical a proof certificate so a certificate of authenticity with other words then. You get the lens cleaner the warranty card. You have everything you need to know about the warranty inside here. And for these binoculars like. It provides 10 years of warranty then as well. We have the instruction manual that's available in multiple languages. That would be all as regards to the scope of delivery.
These retail for around 2600 euros. And the 8 by 42 model is 100 euros cheaper but as. These are currently among the top 3 binoculars in their class so the price is completely expected to be at. This point now inside you'll find roof prisms. And Schmidt packing prisons to be. More accurate then also as is typical for all the quality binoculars nowadays. Even those of the lower price at the lower price point. These are of course filled with dry nitrogen which prevents internal fogging of the lenses at low temperatures. These are also waterproof. You can see that they're very well-made. Both in terms durability. And a aesthetics the build quality is very high but. That is of course expected from binoculars of such a high quality class. And of course like I never forgets about the style with Leica.
You always get fashionable gear. It is by in oculars rifle scopes spotting scopes. And so on they make the elegance. And the modernity they achieve a perfect outcome. These offer quite a long. Irelieve because of the twist of eye cups which. Ialso have to point out. That are really nicely made like eye cups are of course famous for their for being well-made. They can be fixed in. Many positions and will hold their position very well the focusing knob is here. And the central part is very convenient to use. And very accurate some would perhaps prefer. It would be here inside especially those who have small hands for me it's in the perfect location so item cannot complain. That the diopter to set. You have to pull out. This focusing knob like. This then you set the diopter so. That the image is sharp. And adjusted to your eye. When you're done you simply push back into place. And then it works as a focusing knob again.
These protruding points here will make sure. That the grip you have is really nice the rotating it is really convenient. Ireally like we specify the 10 magnification model a little bit. More then with the with. These binoculars you of course have. Finer details as. It magnifies the image. Than the 8 by 42 model. It is also more difficult to maintain a steady image without the vibrations then. It is with the 8 by 42 model of course yes. We have reached the end of. This conclusion in conclusion I'm sorry review. Iwas time for the conclusion so here. We as always enumerate. Some pluses some minuses the plus is. These binoculars as.
Isaid two more times during this review are currently among the top three binoculars with objective lens diameter of 42 millimeters without. We have the Swarovski L. We have size Victorious F. We have the NOC TV and weather which. One which one is better. This is of course a. You have to test. All three together some of course agree. These are the best some would agree. And the other two are a little bit better but. This of course comes down to the customer preference. And the build quality is of course exceptional housing made of museum quality built quality finish. And of course also in a aesthetic aspect. These binoculars are top-notch the optics of course are superb as. Imentioned many times during this review the like is known for having one of the best focusing systems. That works as a charm. Even at extreme temperatures such as minus 40 degrees Celsius. And there cannot be paired by. Any manufacturer as regarded the focusing system.
This is definitely a great buy. If you're looking for binoculars. That you're planning on using even in. Then of course once a week so. This can be used a lot of times. You definitely have them for twenty years. If money is not the issue then. You definitely should look no further. What I also forgot to mention let. Me just open this booklet so. Ican show you just a second for the chart so yes. Iwas just looking for the. It is waterproof to five millimeters of depth. And the storage temperature as. Isaid is minus forty degrees Celsius. And the focusing system will still work without problems at. That temperature okay so. Imentioned all the pluses. Now the minuses the first. One of course with all expensive products is the price not. Many people are willing to spend. This amount of money on binoculars so. This is completely reasonable.
These are as I said priced at around 2600 euros then the field of view could be a little bit bigger. We compare this to the size victory SF in the aspect of field of view size is a little bit better than weigh weight so 900 grams is a lot for the binoculars of. This type so with the 42 millimeter objective lens. And the covers for the objective lens are nice as. Imentioned many of but. Some companies have somewhat better solutions for this so for a binoculars at. This price point maybe like a could use a different solution. This was this is perhaps. Everything as regarded the minuses optically.
And in the terms of build quality your course cannot find any minuses with. These binoculars as. They are very good in. This too in these two fields. Iwould like to thank. You guys for watching so. If you're looking for top-notch buy an ocular. You plan to use for twenty years. If money is of course not the issue then get. You get nice build quality combined with grade-a aesthetics. And of course a piece of like a history. You have any additional questions you're always free to leave a comment in the comment section below. Is an email like this video subscribe to. It to our youtube channel check out our other like of videos. And of other products of course. You next time bye-bye you.
The trivet HD is a high-end european-made binocular. That has made the same features as Leica's premium ultra HD plus line but coming in at a lower price point it's available on. Both 1/8 power and 10 power model the trinity HD has. All the features you would expect on a high quality binocular their waterproof internally fog proof fully rubber armored. And shock resistant. And designed to be easily used with. Or without I glass on the turn of. It HDS may not use the same optical system as the ultra HD plus line from Leica but. You can expect the clarity. And color definition of the trinity to rival comparable models retailing for under $1500. One feature where the trinity HD is outshine the optically superior ultra vids is their six-foot closed focus that's a nice feature. Any nature lover can get behind the tree to. That HD comes packaged with objective lens covers a rain guard. And like as innovative adventurer strap also included is a standard. More conventional neck strap like. It will also include a lifetime warranty. And a three-year passport warranty the turn of eight HD line from Leica introduces upstanding design performance in construction. You expect from a Leica instrument but. Now at a lower price point check. It out for yourself at Eagle optics calm.
Once again welcome to optics trades YouTube channel today we'll be talking about the features of Sri Naveed HD 10 by 30 to a compact type of binoculars made by Leica. Now let's just take. It out of this back here. Now like is one of the greatest companies in the field of binoculars. And shooting optics. They have been making equipment for sub products for. Both photographers and sport optics users for over a hundred years. They have become really renowned in the process. And they're known for producing products of high quality. This here this binoculars here are the tree Naveed 10 by 32 HD. They are made in like US factory in Portugal as. It says here they are introduced in 2017. And with these binoculars like. Iexpanded their offer of entry-level binoculars which are meant mostly for bird watchers hikers travelers. And other enthusiast enthusiasts. That like to be outdoors. These binoculars are classified as compact. This is because of their objective lens diameter the objective lens diameter is 32 millimeters. They will naturally not perform as good. And dusk as the models with objective lens diameter of 42 millimeters but. Though the objective lens diameter of these is only 32 millimeters. They perform quite good. It starts to get a little bit dusky outside of course the low-light performance cannot be compared with like binoculars. That have bigger objective diameters in comparison to models with for example 42 millimeter objective lenses. These are way more compact. And can be stashed almost anywhere in a bag. Some pockets so they really can. They really make a good companion the size is the biggest advantage of compact beam binoculars as.
This is a great companion especially for those who like to go into the mountains. And for bird watchers as well. Even for some hunters who hunt during daytime. This small here as the as. Isaid a 10 by 32 model. It retails for around 900 euros. You will find the 8 by 32 model on the market for approximately 450 euros less so for 850 euros. What a lesson let's say. Something about the 10 times magnification so the 10 times magnification is great for those who want details. When observing and in comparison to the 8 times magnification binoculars. These will have a smaller field of view naturally because of the bigger magnification the handshaking will also be. More noticeable you will see. More details this is usually a feature. That bird watchers are looking for or those who would like to for example observe things in greater detail.
They feature a rubber armoring it makes them non slippery. It also adds to the durability. It also makes them quite nice to the touch like as designs always stand out so. We can see this model here is no different from. What we were used to so but by. What we were used to. Imeant by stylish new designs introduced by Leica every time so viewing remains comfortable. These for a longer period of time because of their quality eyepieces. And in overall these really feature a great build quality built quality is. One of the most important features. And the MOT one of the features. That mostly stands out with. These binoculars the prisms are Schmidt Beck ham so. It features roof prisms the optical parts are fully multi-coated to ensure. That maximum light transmission is achieved the central. This is decent there is a low amount of internal reflections. And also low mount Blair. And because of the combination of high contrast.
And ten times magnification plenty of details can be seen. Now optically these binoculars are quite good but there of course is still room for improvement there is a water-resistant. And dirt repellent coating on the surface of the lenses which is also a nice addition by Leica the field of view is 130 meters on 1000 meters. This is a average field of view so still room for improvement as regards the the eye cups. They are adjustable of course. And what's really nice is. They can really be fixed in. Many positions as well. It is important to note. And to point out that like as eyepieces are really outstanding they never fail to amaze. These are really well-made. Icups as well as the whole build quality so the whole package is of high quality the eye cups are of course rubberized. And resting on the eyes on them is a pleasant experience as. You can see they will also stay in place. And will not move unless rotated very nice so the diopter setting is as is classic located on the right are cooler right beneath.
It there is a mono bridge in the middle the focusing knob is very large. And easy to access with. Both index and middle finger. Both the surface also allows. You to get a firm grip. And makes the rotation easy it's really nice and really nice to the touch so. Even the focusing system works really well. This is of course nothing new from Leica. Now as regards the scope of the livery. You already know is. This neoprene bag we like a logo okay. It has a brownish greenish color so. This bag could perhaps be like. It could perhaps use. Another bag I don't know it's not really. That handy it's quite difficult to start them inside would be much easier with.
Some other types of carrying bags then. This new preen strap with. It like a logo on here. We have a bunch of protectors for the lenses they're. All made out of rubber then of course. We have the warranty card with the like a product. You also get ten years of warranty as. It says here then there's the certificate of authenticity. And of course the instruction manual available in. Many languages very nicely written. And then of course the cleaner for the lenses the lens cloth. We have come to the very end of. This short review I think it's time to enumerate. Some advantages and disadvantages let's start with the points the. Most important point.
Ithink is the build quality of these binoculars. These are really well-made. You hold you get ahold of them. You can see everything works really smoothly the eyepiece is the focusing system the bridge is nicely made so build quality is definitely expected exceptional with. These binoculars I also have to point out the. How great the eyepieces are. Nothing new from like of course. And so the focusing system overall the build quality is very great. What could be improved perhaps is the optical quality. These are does't get. Me wrong these are very decent optically but. They could offer perhaps a little with. More of optical quality for the price. And judging that they're from like. They could have been optically a little bit better I'm also going to point out the average fill the views with 130 meters on 1000 meters. This is very average it's not very low it's not but it's. Nothing special so this could also be improved by Leica. Iforgot something you can always send.
Is an email you can leave a comment in the comment section below. You found the video useful hit like. And maybe also subscribe to our Channel. This would be everything for me today so thank. You guys for watching and see. You guys next time you.
Hey we're doing more. Then just jet hunting and getting in shape out here today we're also fielded testing the new like--it renovate binoculars. You know in today's economy Leica wanted to come to market with a product. That was a great value without sacrificing on their top-quality German engineering, but we've. All known for years. And years I'll tell. All the field testing we've done over the last. Few weeks they may have delivered with. This new like a train of. It the like is a great company so to say. They know a little bit about high quality German optics would definitely be an understatement. They made a big splash in the 80s with the first company to ever plug a laser rangefinder into a set of binocular also known as the G Ovid guides. And Outfitters as well as sportsmen around the world have been carrying this product for over 25 years. And it's its still a big seller the other big product. That kind of set the world lemons here with a dual of. It the multi power binoculars. Either the 8 to 12 or the 10 by 15 power. They were another fantastic product but. These new trent of its they're also gonna rate right up there with those. You got top-quality German optics. And engineering at an affordable price. Ifirst got this product for testing first thing I wanted to find out is. You reduce the price by almost 30 percent without sacrificing in quality but. We started investigating the thing. We found our is this chassis here is the same exact chassis. They use, and they're higher in premium binoculars so.
That means said they're able to have. More volume and drive the cost down from a sheer volume standpoint. One of the other things Center hinge pin it's always been titanium. And still is and they're premium binoculars but. They went with a stainless steel hinge pin still works fantastic no problems with. It's worked just fine adds minor weight but drives the cost down dramatically also in. This area you go ahead. And hook up your strap. You know this is a metal piece. And it's not built into the body anymore. This is also driven the cost down so little minor changes like. That haven't affected the quality, but they've driven the price down 30% I'll take.
It lets's take just a minute here. And talk about the features. And benefits of this product. That makes a new tryn of it's so good. You know first of all it's compact. Imean fits about the size of my hand here the other thing one pound 12 ounces for this entire package the way. It right here with this strap the other thing the black rubberized non-glare coating I mean we've had. These a couple of weeks. And taking them out testing on a regular basis set them down on the ground set them on the dash car putting them inside your case. You know shows absolutely nowhere so over years. These things are gonna continue to look new the other thing is the roll-up i-cubs what's so important about. That's because every binocular has a set a roll of by touch what's important to. Me it's got four hard stops here so. You don't have to worry about them rolling up. And rolling down you set them there.
They stay there so whether you're an eyeglass wearer. You wear sunglasses. When you're spotting or. You go with no glass at. One of those eye reliefs is gonna work perfect for your different setup the other thing is the center focus. And diopter a lot of these in different binoculars they're so smooth. That anytime you pull them up to your eyes they're not a focus. These are smooth enough. They hold tight you get them adjusted so every time. Ipull them up they're in focus. They stay focused even by putting them in my case. And pull them back out of my case. Or inside my jacket to adjust so. You just pop you can adjust. Each eye independently. That done then you can focus on distance accordingly. And actually usage and testing of the binoculars. And low-light conditions has been fantastic.
Ican see buffs and bowls. And stuff out here well before shooting light. And well after shooting light so. What else can you ask for more. You know is one percent two percent different. Than their top in line not enough. That my eyes can tell. This is truly a great value with top-quality German engineering test them out for yourself I'm sure you're not going to be disappointed you.
Hello welcome back to. Another review from Optics Street today. Ihave here binoculars from mica. These are like a tree Naveed HD 842 Leica is a well-known company originating from Germany they're in the business of sports optics ever since 1950s their long tradition guarantees excellence. And high quality standard. This product is from the tree Naveed HD series as. Isaid before the model was is was introduced in 2015 like. Is famous Trina with entry-level series ranges back to 1958. When the first model was introduced to innovate HD is the latest series. That was introduced in 2015 with the first two models with 42 millimeter objective lenses. They were these 8 by 42. And 10 by 42 models later in 2017 like. Another 2 compact models with a thirty-two millimeter objective lenses again the models are 8 by 32. And 10 by 30 to the name Treena beat combines 3 novel innovations by Leica so the first. All binoculars have a compact. And ergonomic design second. One is a precise inner focusing mechanism. And the third that binoculars have an excellent optical performance. These binoculars are the full-sized ones. They have a standard configuration 8 by 42.
They are made in Portugal. This is also written here on the bridge. They weigh seven hundred. And thirty grams and are approximately fourteen centimeters long. And twelve centimeters wide as. You can see they have a classic. And timeless design with signature red like a logo. They feel reliable and bust due to their proper armoring and magnesium housing optically. These binoculars offer sharp. And bright image even on the edges the prisms in here are Schmidt pakkun which contributes to their small design. All lenses inside are fully multi-coated which contributes to bright image the product is filled with nitrogen gas which makes.
It for proof these binoculars are also waterproof. They are a perfect choice as an all-round binocular for observing nature. Or in hunting or burnt watching comparing this model. This model with eight power magnification with the model. That has a ten power magnification is. That the image of these binoculars will not be as shaky as the. One in model with a ten power magnification field of view is 124 meters at a thousand meters its decent but it's not. That great focusing can be done with. This central focusing knob the knob is ergonomically designed. It is easily accessible. And seems reliable the focusing the turning is smooth.
You hold these binoculars in. One hand the focusing is really easy the difference in your eyesight can be adjusted by. This right eye adapter. That has a red line. That indicates how much you've turned the ring the eye cups are fully padded. They are made out of rubber. They seem reliable they offer. Many in-between positions so to count. You have one first position then second. One third fourth fifth six. You name it because of. This in between positions. They are really reliable for any user. Even ones who have glasses there are. Many items included in the package but the. Most important you can see is. This adventure strap as the Leica calls. This is a innovative strap for carrying and storing your binoculars. This strap is made out of neoprene. Ican show you can store your binoculars so. You put them in here. Even close that cap with. These straps you put the strap on your binoculars so. Even carry them out of.
This protective strap like. You attach them like. You can put this around your neck. Even strip this down. You can also make this a storing case by closing. That closing that I'm putting this round here. Because the maybe applying this is a bit hard. He also got a instructions on how to. How to store binoculars in. This trap how to carry. This trap around your body. Iwould have to say. Iam NOT such a fan of. This adventure straps. Ithink it's a bit clumsy the storing is quite difficult. You have to figure out. How to properly close. This case but like is innovative in. It in their own way. Ithink it's a great addition to add.
Something innovative like. This — classic binoculars. You also have included. These caps for the objective lenses so. This ring on the outside like. And then close the lens. This is great for so. You don't lose this caps. You also receive this rubber eyepiece covers so eyepieces are always protected. We also got strap for one oculars. It says like this strap is for the adventure strap so. You can carry it around your body. We also got a proof certificate a guarantee card. And instructions in multiple languages like offers 10 years warranty with. This monitors and to sum up. This review these binoculars. You get plastic like a quality the focusing system is great its innovative the design is classic. And sleek they are easy to handle. And of course most importantly the optical performance is excellent. Iwould have to say. That the downside of these monitors to.
This adventure straps. Iwould be more satisfied with a simple neoprene case. That would be easy to carry. And easy to store and also the field of view is quite narrow. It is good decent but not amazing this is. Everything for this review. You enjoyed it pleases leave. Is a comment down below subscribe to our channel. And like this video see. You in the next review bye you.
Hello to all optics enthusiasts. And welcome to another video. Another short review shot here at the optics Street headquarters today. We will be reviewing three Naveed HD 8 by 32 made by Leica. Now Leica is a is one of the. Most renowned companies in the field of binoculars. And shooting optics. And for over 100 years. They have been offering products of the highest quality for. Both photographers and sport optics users. We will be reviewing the as. Isaid the 8 by 32 model which. Ihave right here in my hands. It is made in like us factor in Portugal. These were introduced in 2017. And were actually an expansion of entry-level binoculars for bird watchers hikers. And other wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts. These are not as good as in Twilight as the models with bigger objective lens but will perform just as good during the day as the models with objective lens diameter of 42 millimeters. And foreign 4x4 binoculars with objective lens diameter of 32 millimeters. They also perform fairly well in Twilight. They gather a surprising amount of light in low-light conditions. And the advantage of these. This model over the model with 42 millimeter objective lenses is definitely in size. These are really compact. And lightweight they are 130 millimeters long. And measure 117 millimeters in width so. When they're fully extended of course.
And because of these two features. They can be stashed almost anywhere definitely a great companion especially for how hikers Mountaineers bird watchers. Even hunters who hunt during daytime the small so the 8 by 32 HD retails for around 850 euros. While the 10 by 32 model is around 50 euros. More expensive let's talk a little bit about magnification so the eight times magnification is very Universal. It provides a decent field view better. Than the ten times magnification binoculars naturally the eight times magnification also means. That the binoculars are not. That susceptible to handshaking as the 10 by 10 times magnification version is so.
It will be much more comfortable to look through. When he'll enhance these feature a robber armoring. That makes them non slippery durable. And very nice to the touch trainer with HD 8 by 32 is definitely a stylish pair of binoculars. These feature a typical like a design which is very nice to the eye. If the user observes for a long time the viewing most people can still be comfortable so. One reason for that is the 8 times magnification. And the other reason is the eye cups made by like which are very well-made the presence in. These binoculars irishman peckin the optical parts are fully multi-coated to ensure maximum light transmission there is a low amount of internal reflections. And glare because the image is high contrast details can be seen very easily. Now optically these are good so the image could be a little bit. Sharper now don't get. Me wrong the image is already very sharp on the sand so the central sharpness.
And the edge sharpness but considering. These binoculars are made by Leica. It could be a little bit. Sharper it already is. These are water resistant. And the lenses are coated with a special dirt repellent coating to prevent dirt from gathering on the lenses let's move on to the eye cups so the eye cups are adjustable. They are made from rubber. And can be fixed in. Many positions a nice addition for those who wear glasses. Once said these will stay in place. And will not move unless rotated like a produces eyepieces of excellent quality. This model is no exception to. That fact the diopter setting is located here on the right ocular the binoculars feature a moon bridge in the middle the focusing knob here is as.
You can see very large. You hold it in your hands the binoculars. You will see that it's in a really nice position it's easy to access with your index. Or the middle finger. And the focusing system really has to be pointed out the quality is exquisite so. Nothing new like it's known for their great focusing systems. And trained elite HD 8x3 — is no exception to. Now let's move on to the scope of delivery. You naturally get the binoculars you'll also get a neoprene back will. You like a logo on you will get an instruction manual that's available in. More languages you will get a lens cleaning cloth a warranty card oops so in the warranty card you'll see. This product comes with ten years of warranty which is a nice addition a certificate of authenticity on as well.
You will also get a new print carrying strap with a width like a written on. You will also get the colors for the objective. And ocular lenses made out of rubber so nice calm delivery. Now it's time to do. Some up well I've talked about today so it's time to enumerate. Some good some bad characteristics starting with the good ones the. Most apparent and the best feature of. These binoculars I would say is the focusing system made by like. This is really a top-notch focusing system. You look through and rotate. This focusing knob you'll see. That it's really done very well. Another thing is the build quality which is like. It is known for great focusing system. And for great build quality. These are really well-made the eye cups as well the eye cups are rare really good. They really stay in place are really comfortable to put your eyes on. And your head will rest really nicely on them. They can also be nicely adjusted so very good eye cups.
What could be improved the first. That the central. And add sharpness is. That a good level but not at a great level. And for Leica binoculars. We perhaps expect a little bit better central. And add sharpness then. It then with these binoculars so optically. It could be a little bit better the. We are also not that happy about. This bag so it is not really. That handy and quite difficult to start the binoculars in could perhaps be a little bit different shape so. It would be easier to start the binoculars. And carry them around. And the third thing is the field of view so 124 meters on 1000 meters he's a decent field of view but still. And not as good as could be so. This is basically if I've enumerated. Some good characteristics. Some disadvantages that could be improved.
